Riverdance finale, featuring Michael Flatley, Jean Butler and lots of extremely talented irish dancers. Truly amazing! I want to see that show so badly :(
My ex-girlfriend took me to see this after I resisted for quite some time. I'm so glad I listened to her--best show I've ever seen. She was right about a great many things and this was one of them.
In my opinion this is their best performance. The moment the background rises and the dancers walk go down the stairs. Amazing. And later dancing in line.
Glorifying a single dancer in something like this is farcical, the precision and perfection each dancer shows as a team is overwhelming, i get shivers watching this.
I've been in love with Riverdance ever since my mum stuck me in front of the television to watch it when I was about 8 months old. The live show is BRILLIANT, seriously, I so recommend it!
This is the Riverdance that I know and love. Simple, elegant and classic. No flashy lights, fireworks, or drama. The dance is so elegant that it speaks for its self!
Michael beasted that shit. Sure he was arrogant and prideful... but that kinda made the show for me. And when he made Lord of the Dance... it was just additional beast mode. The crowd, the cheers, he ate it up. It was his jam. I wish technology and science was at a point where it could allow him to dance full shows again.
When you see and hear this in person, it's a thunderous roar of tap dancing and it vibrates through the whole theater. It's truly amazing to watch live
My grandmother took me to this in real life when i was a little girl, they are coming to my home town on tuesday and i'm heart broken that i cant go I love watching this kind of stuff. They are so awesome!
I went to see Riverdance in Dublin last Friday. Had front row tickets. It was absolutely fantastic! I've wanted to see it since I was about 11 or 12. I'm now 27 lol. Was a dream come true!
I'm a grown man, 34 years old, but this video makes me tear uo every time i see it. And i know why. It is because i can see mankinds potential to work together so well in this video and every time i look at the news i see only our capability to work against ourselves. And that, if nothing else in this, is sad...
I got given the video of riverdance about 10 years ago and watched it thousands of times! Now I've been actually doing Irish dance for about 8 years and am finally going to see them on their UK tour next year!! I can only thank them for getting me into it! xx
Saw Riverdance in Dublin this past summer---uber spectacular! The final number is an absolute show stopper and one of the greatest works of dance choreography ever!
my dad and i watch this every christmas ever since i was 6, i've seen 2 live shows and this is the highlight it gives me goosbumps watching this EVERY.SINGLE.TIME. to bad michael Flatley thought HE was the show...
Amazing! Like a machine, it just captivates you and draws you in. And to think 500 or so years ago. Some Irish Chieftain sat around a camp fire drunk and said "Hey, you should all do that together like a machine!" And the most captivating dancing in the world was born! Who would have thunk it?
For the last 2 weeks I had watched this video over and over again. I already lost count. Deathuni38, I don't even look at Michael, but at his feet and at everybody elses feet. They all are very talented and their coordination is simply amazing. WOW!!!
Must have seen Riverdance at least 3 times. Every time I see a clip it still gives me goosebumps. Michael Flatley is amazing and his legs even more so. Never tire of seeing him or this show.
Saw them @ The Gaeity in Dublin in '05. Even had front row seats! It was FANTASTIC! Can't wait to take my son (who is half- Irish) to see it when he's older.
I used watch Riverdance all the time when i was little. I used to be hyponotised by it so much. I still am. Good memories of trying to dance like that....never suceeded. I was definitely not meant for dancing :')
Anyone saying anything negative about these dancers sucks. Saw them live in Toronto 12 years ago, and I was blown away! And I've been a student of tap dance.
I still remember the night that I saw Riverdance.....in Finland. I know it was about 15-16 years ago...but still... It was totally amazing... I remember..I had the show on film because of some tv show.... So I watched all the time...and when I finally saw it live... I still remembered everything...and I still do :D It just gives me the chills when I hear those sounds.... my legs would not stop moving... :D
Utterly brilliant. Michael Flatley is truly amazing. And to be fair, Jean Butler appears much more when you see the whole of the River Dance. I bought the video of the whole show but I played it so often it wore out! And such co-ordination from the rest of the many dancers....
never been to ireland, never spoke irish, but this Dance is absolutely awesome! I wish i can learn this dance and bring it home to my country and show it off here, how absolutely awesome this dance is! keep it up! yeyyy... :)) BIG SMILE!
Personally, I'm not a dancer, but having been affiliated with a dance school as sound man; I have been able to watch any dance and take an interest in watching dancers perform. I'm envious of all these Irish dancers, I wish I could dance like that...great party piece at a disco!
so perfect that the girl in the line to his right , when her foot bounces that tiny little bit, jumps out at everyone i ask to watch and look for slips. you know it is so perfect when something so trivial can be noticed. :)
RIVERDANCE IS IT!!!!!My cousin Greg and I (we were 4yrs old use to put this video on to copy Michael Flately and Jean Butler. (the door was our drums) We got brought to see the original show in the Point Dublin. They are massive dancers and normal lovely people
I have seen this live, and it just takes your breath away. M.Flately has not been in this show for many years. He has his own troop of Irish dancers called -Lord of the dance.
You know when I was little I use to think this stuff was stupid but now that I'm older and more mature I realize how difficult this is and how many years of training it takes to perform like this but more importantly how incredibly talented and eye popping this style of dance really is. I so damn proud this is where my heritage comes from! Amazing!
My ex-girlfriend took me to see this after I resisted for quite some time. I'm so glad I listened to her--best show I've ever seen. She was right about a great many things and this was one of them.
i love how when they finish you can see a the pride they have in their faces after doing such an amazing performance.
In my opinion this is their best performance. The moment the background rises and the dancers walk go down the stairs. Amazing. And later dancing in line.
I am still watching this in 2016 since the first time this aired... and I still love it, simply amazing! 😄
Yasmine Grant I just watched it in 2018
2:07 marks the beginning of a beat that I will never ever forget... i always listen for it every time i watch any Irish Dancing show XD
Fabulous show. Great music

I've always love riverdance I just love the music and the dancing totally awesome would love to see it live one day
absolute precision
indeed,wonderfoul talented people
The unity of the whole group while dancing is enough to leave a person utterly speechless.
This is the Riverdance that I know and love. Simple, elegant and classic. No flashy lights, fireworks, or drama. The dance is so elegant that it speaks for its self!
Meanwhile, I get through the day by repeating to myself "right foot, left foot, right foot, left foot..."
Michael beasted that shit. Sure he was arrogant and prideful... but that kinda made the show for me. And when he made Lord of the Dance... it was just additional beast mode. The crowd, the cheers, he ate it up. It was his jam. I wish technology and science was at a point where it could allow him to dance full shows again.
when riverdance is done as perfect as this , it is one of the most amazing things you can ever see . xxxx
When you see and hear this in person, it's a thunderous roar of tap dancing and it vibrates through the whole theater. It's truly amazing to watch live
AAAAH sends shivers down my spine holy crap that was awesome
"His legs flail about as if independent from his body!" - Chandler Bing (On Michael Flatley, the phenomena that scares the bejesus out of him)
My grandmother took me to this in real life when i was a little girl, they are coming to my home town on tuesday and i'm heart broken that i cant go I love watching this kind of stuff. They are so awesome!
This is phenomenal, the timing, the choreograpy, the pace, the cohesion all work so well together, this is ART!!
Congratulations...
Meus parabéns de verdade!
culture . heritage. pride. awesome.! let's dance!
Shut up twat
I went to see Riverdance in Dublin last Friday. Had front row tickets. It was absolutely fantastic! I've wanted to see it since I was about 11 or 12. I'm now 27 lol. Was a dream come true!

Saw Riverdance in Dublin this past summer---uber spectacular! The final number is an absolute show stopper and one of the greatest works of dance choreography ever!
Never tire of seeing this. Always brings a smile to the face of this Welshman.
There is some male dancer - of course I cant find that video now - with dark hair, who is just as good a dancer as Michael Flatley.
.... Okay?
I liked it better after Flatley left the show, his arrogance was too much and overwhelmed the show.
+Aussie Pie YES!!! INDEED! My niece was a dancer and she said all the dancers loathed him!
+Roy Martin Your niece and the other dancers should've THANKED him for having a job!!
Me too. His ego was way to big.
+usernamevidio He was proud of what he was able to do and rightly so!
Pride and conceit are two different things.
my dad and i watch this every christmas ever since i was 6, i've seen 2 live shows and this is the highlight it gives me goosbumps watching this EVERY.SINGLE.TIME.
to bad michael Flatley thought HE was the show...

M.Flately has not been in this show for many years. He has his own troop of Irish dancers called -Lord of the dance.
one of the main things i notice about these dancer is that when the cameras go overhead you can cleary see how much in union they are... fantastic
You know when I was little I use to think this stuff was stupid but now that I'm older and more mature I realize how difficult this is and how many years of training it takes to perform like this but more importantly how incredibly talented and eye popping this style of dance really is. I so damn proud this is where my heritage comes from! Amazing!
