Hey can I get a tip I have a 2017 Kia optima with the knobs I want to upgrade to oem kia optima bigger screen without the knobs would it just be a easy swap or would I have to rewire the stereo to make the bigger screen one without the knobs to work
thanks for the video! but oh man those clips are hard to remove. The giant metallic trim was easier to remove from the left. I broke some pins on the pasenger side /middle trim tho, was too tight on top...

Hi, on the aftermarket radio, are you able to retain the climate control display that used to show up on the factory radio?
If your radio supports it
Do you know if there is an adapter anywhere that lets you retain the factory usb port with an aftermarket radio?

when Installing an aftermarket double din can you plug and play reverse camera and Bluetooth?
the reverse cam will be plug and play if you have the proper harness and it comes with the a rca video on it which metra sells the bluetooth will not but the aftermarket headunit should have bluetooth so no need to retain the factory
@@jptheinstallguy did you oem radio have navigation? Do you have a link to the Harness that you used? Im having a few questions on what I need in addition to 2 plug harness and dash kit. Antenna adapter? Axess harness kit?

Have you ever removed the climate control part on the 2017 Kia Optima, looks just like the one in this video. Is it hard? I’m considering it but I can’t find any videos on removing it
I have read that 2016 and up are supposed to all be the same? Do you know if that is true or not? I have a 2018 Optima but my factory had unit the display screen is a lot bigger than yours and everything is touchscreen. It does not have any knobs at all but other than that it looks very similar.
Removal for me was the same. I have the larger screen too.
