Is this kia optima 2006 2.0 l petrol model? Because I have one and engine makes tickling noise when the car is running below 3k rpm while climbing somewhere do you know what makes this sound? Maybe its coming from the timing belt?

The black ground wire attached to the head unit that's separate from the main harness, is that wire needed to power the radio or anything else? I'm installing a new head unit soon and needed to know if that separate ground needs to be connected

I turned it on once when I forgot to plug it in if I remember right. It shouldn't be needed. I may be wrong.

@@lucasdantas723 that's why I tried to make a video on it. One time I was replacing a radio in my sister's '08 Optima and it took my uncle and I about an hour to get to it. We had no help on the internet. If you need anything let me know but I'm not sure about the wiring diagrams.

@@zachj2k248 gotcha thanks dude I have a 07 kia optima ex with the infinity sound system and there's a rear deck speaker which I believe is a sub that started to rattle all of the sudden and may need to remove it lol not sure if yours has a sub in the rear deck

@@lucasdantas723 in the LX cars, there isn't a CD changer or infinity system with the sub. I kinda wish it did lol but just a standard radio and CD player.
