I'm going to vinyl wrap that silver trim price around the radio because it's super scratched and doesn't come clean anymore. I'm so grateful someone made a video showing how to remove the exact piece
i have the satnav system (fully loaded caliber), are the instructions the same? the navigation system won't budge and i can't get it out because the panel doesn't rotate.
I know this is an older video but once the bottom is removed slide a flat head in the white sliton the side and then slide it up effortlessly on all Calibers
That gear knob looked like a pain. Perhaps you can make a slide on " L " shaped bracket that slides sideways on to the shaft and pulls up under the knob, the long vertical part of the L can have a sliding weight on it, to use it like a vertical slide hammer.
Well its a thought, if the gearshift knobs get to be too often im sure you can make something effective, like the spot on panel tool :-). Just a comment to show that i was watching lol.
I have a 2010 with the redesigned interior and a manual tranny so I may actually be able to supply some useful info :) At least with the manual the shift knob is press-fit onto a knurled shaft, not spun onto a threaded shaft, so you're not removing it without destroying it. Did you really need to remove the knob though? I think that if you had just put the car into L you might have been able to pop off that shifter bezel to get at the radio bezel. There were also multiple head units used in Calibers over the years and the features often varied from year to year. If you're looking to replace yours from a salvage yard, make sure you get the same exact model you originally had...otherwise some features won't work (especially the Bluetooth phone pairing).
Chris Freemesser do I need a harness to put a radio in after taking old one out I had problem with the two electrical wires he took out towards the end ?.??...
I have a 2011 Dodge Caliber and the sound on the radio still works but the screen is black and won't show the time or which station the radio is on. Do you know what might be the cause of this and how I may be able to fix it? Thank you!!
Hello everyone! Do you know the model number and version of this radio? In my dodge I have got radio with the same shape, but i have't got aux input. I wanna change the radio, but I can't find this radio model. Can you help me?

I remember learning how to fix my first car from your videos years ago
Thanks! I ended following part of the video and didn’t take out the shift knob I just popped up the gear shell and turned it sideways
Clear video, greatly done. I will use masquin tape on the metal prying tool tip to avoid scratching the plastic
No need to remove the knob...Just turn the shifter cover plate sideways after you pop it out. Very cool "custom" tool!
Thanks. You showed me how to take off the stuck gear shift handle.
Do u know where the powertrain control module is on 07 dodge caliber
Does anyone know were what oin numbers in the wire harness the steering wheel controls and ignition are on 2008 dodge caliber?

A tool like that would make the job much easier.

I'm going to pick a part to get a radio because my aux cord input is completely broken I'm going to replace it myself...
Works for jeep compass of same years. Same parts. All Chrysler stuff lol
Vidéo Parfaite ! Un grand merci 👍👍👍
Thanks for the video. Really helped me out!
Anyone have any aftermarket radio ideas??
Just buy adapters for single din or double din radios. $12 on eBay with the kit. I'm upgrading to a Bluetooth setup 😋
