crutchfield was saying that axxess kit "doesnt fit" the 2019 sorento but that appeared to be a lie. Thanks for the video.
Hi LanceFlugerman, thanks for watching the video, the axxess kit works in the 2019 sorento, i said didn't work with the 12.8 aftermarket radio, i did try different radios settings and not look, if are you using a Kenwood, Sony, JVC, LG, etc then axxess kit will work with those radios
@@ROCO0022 I'm eyeing up a pioneer. tuning the stereo with a stock head unit is providing it's own challenges since I'm only using crossovers and gains for control outside of the 3 band EQ.

Yes , I leave the original cam. However, the original camera is 6v that is why I used the voltage step down from 12v to 6v
OK I’m gonna have to tell you thank you because I’ve been wanting to upgrade my radio but I didn’t want to lose the touchscreen in my 2019 Kia Sorrento L now if you could add speakers to your third row and upload a video maybe even add an amp and a sub in the back I’d be a happy woman because then I know how to do it and add it to mine. Lol but thank you for the video, not sure if you added links on your stuff that you bought it but I will check after I comment

I'm confused on the back-up camera wiring. I get you have to reduce the voltage down to 6 volts, but why did you say you ran a red wire back to the camera? Did you replace your camera? Why wouldn't you just be using camera signal from the factory wiring?
You probably got your answer already, but it depends if your connections are factory rca. Which I don’t think they are.
Awesome job, do you thing this would work to retain steering wheel controls on 2021 sedona? I have the same wiring harness everything looks the same radio works but I don't have the interface the one Crutchfield sold me doesn't work but I wanna try the one you listed perhaps? Any help would be greatly appreciated I'm even willing to compensate a few bucks. Thanks in advance
Regarding the backup camera. Have you tried any of the dash cam apps to record the backup camera?

Cool tech but it looks terrible sticking out that far from the dash. The viewing angle from the driver's point of view is not great. I have a 2016 Kia Sorento but I'll be sticking with upgrading to a 6-7" screen mounted into the double din. Nothing against the install though.

@@Mr102185 I got the Kenwood DMX7706S and had Best Buy install it. Nice features and the rear camera worked fine. Kept the factory speakers and they handled it fine.

installed 10 inch android steady slim headunit last year, but i got some issues?!
the ahop installed it without using that canbas decoder!! he shredded some cables to find witch wire that deliver the video singal to radio and hook it up to the reverse wire i lost that way 2 things to be displayed in my monitor 1 is i can't change the language of cluster!
2 I can't view the reverse warning ⚠️ arrows that used to be displayed by my factory radio monitor but i still hear the warning.
if someone has knowledge about the canbas benefits for my car I'd be thankful .

what you connected the harness too in the car? I have the same radio the 12.8 and i cant find no one to hook it up in my 2019 Kia Cadenza but im going to do it. I have the same harness and connections as you but can you do a more detailed video hooking up the steering to the radio please this will help me a lot....Thank You
Refer to the diagram picture at the end of the video, I used the 70-7306 aftermarket harness to connected with the 12.8 radio harness which if is the same as my I did cut the end side of the 12.8 radio harness to connect the wires together with the aftermarket 70-7306 harness, I hope that I didn't make you more confused, but once again refer to de diagram at the end of the video 😀
I did but what connection you connected to in the car for the radio and steering? Your video doesn’t show what you connected to in the car....
