Gullyy: If I had a nickel for everytime I had to match up against Oumaji as Aquarion, i would have two nickels. Which isn't a lot, but it's weird that it happened twice

Challenge idea: normal Polytopia but you can only pick city walls when you upgrade your city to level 3.
Only explorer, wall, border growth and park!
This challenge is just plain mean
PAIN
Video idea: Massive Continets pass and play map where you play as every player - essentially a 12v12 against yourself where you play each turn as each tribe the best you can and see what happens. I played it myself and it’s super fun! It’ll be like that old Pixar short of the old guy playing chess against himself. Anyway love the vids!
I do that all the time and the games take like a month to finish, lol
I do that so much and bro Polaris vs another tribe usually ends in complete stalemates where it takes hours to make any progress.
I’m surprised you don’t know how well Tridention are on dry land with roads. Pretty unstoppable in the end game if combined with defenders. Obviously if you can make it to the end game. But that’s why I love them, because everyone underestimates them.
They don't need defenders, they are just broken since they can retreat out of range with roads and knights don't even one shot them.

Honestly, drylands Aquarian is nice because you don't have to fight off giant battleships and tridentions almost completely counter catapult spam. Also with enough of them, you basically hit a "I can't lose button". Main trouble is early game

A couple years ago I was using trident and roads to turtle my way to victory. Back then the roads worked to give riders/tridents extra movement still.

Challenge video idea: Warriors only (but can still use boats and super unit)
Aquarion: can get two super units for only one road connection. (14:02)
Cymanti: can get four centipede heads for one mycelium connection. (centipede body separation by getting another centipede)
that oumaji player is never going to financially recover from that loss lol.

I think that aquarion should start with an amphibian on their capital. Keep everything else the same

I feel like you get a lot of opponents who just aren't very good and I get people like you almost everytime. I also think there is some foundational concept I am missing. I get smashed midgame all the time. I've watched most of your videos and start the same way you do and all of a sudden the opponent starts upleveling at a pace I can't comprehend.
Man Aquarion need a serious buff or even a rework. I mean I like them so much but I mean it's so rough in multiplayer. Give them a starting tech for example (god not riding or diving wtv tho). What do u think Gully?

Well I always thought about if they get free spirit as a starting tech, it wouldn’t make them much more powerful economically but tridentrons earlier would be cool
@@xavicolol7481 either way an economic tech like like hunting (cause, turtles) would be much more beneficial, as Aquarion struggle a lot in the early game.
