Looks like I've had my hand smacked lol. I'm that one that said my block isn't the right size. Sorry!! I'm now thinking it's seam ripper and redo time. I think I'll wait for the tutorial next time and follow your lead. Thanks for the info on how to get a 1/4" seam correctly I'm following now☺️
