I am a Somalian currently living in Canada, I could not believe how my Somali way of life and traditions are so close to those nomadic tribes i just watched. In Every way of life even the landscape, the animals, the trees and the grass are the same. Even our physical appearance is the same. Both of our people live under the sky and on barren land with their animals but these days because of the climate change people are flocking to the cities after the animals die because of the droughts. I really enjoyed. Thanks for educating me.

This documentary is one that constantly uses back handed compliment throughout the whole thing... it starts off saying that the city has modern buildings like no where in Africa has modern buildings... it gets worst from there... the men are described as effeminate, it's shocking that the women have rights etc... what would be a very good film turns into a rude and stereotype ridden waste... very eurocenyric and annoying

I am not sure what the commentator meant by a world of "hefty women and effeminate men." What criteria was he using for that designation? Is ir because some men were holding hands? That happens in many parts of Africa as a sign of friendship and brotherhood. It has zero sexual connotation. I did not see any so called "hefty women." If he meant hardworking women, African women traditionally work hard. Thay do not lie around on ocuches watching TV. He also asked where did all the silk and adornments come from? Well, it's called trade! These people own cattle. They trade cattle for goods across the regions. Capiche?

And to that it is an open door for every form of evil and sin. That's why this country is so evil. Here everybody is self centered, murderers drug addicts. I mean it's like that every where. But here it's huge. I like Africa, because there, they live off the land and what God provides. I like it that way. Just the great outdoors and God. I even like the people there too. Hard working.
