@rob 998 Sat on my ass? I was severely outnumbered on every front I was fighting on so my only choice was to hunker down and let the enemy waste massive amounts on men and resources because the AI likes to cycle charge. Once their equipment was depleted I was then able to push easily as my strength had also been building. I micro when I need to but I didn't. You only see a tiny amount of what I actually do as I cut out all the tedious bits. I'm not the best HOI player ever but I'm certainly better than people give me credit for.

Alternative universe where Germany is incopetent, and Italy has to help with everything.
Next: As Germany man with strange hairline tries to defeat Austria with Austria having all research done and tons of equipment, AND if it seemed easy manpower of Austria at 100000-500000 and 10 divisions designed by a genius named Alex the Rambler in the field in 1936. And maximum industry in Austria. Sounds fun doesn't it!
I like to use field hospitals especially when launching attacks that I know will be costly. Not for the manpower but to keep the XP. Just having more experienced troops can mean all the difference in war.
"I'm actually really good at this game!" yes you are, but you need to beat ISP on being a warcrime machine though... (I miss the heart, I admit that)

One thing I learned the hard way: Never leave a border completely unguarded, especially not if the border is with the Soviets and you're Fascist.
(Even one or two really shitty divisions can make a difference in the initial push, at least against AI)

the real question is why you declared on Netherlands lol, sure nobody was guaranteeing them. but after a certain world tension the allies are guaranteed to step in if you go to war.
