Honestly with the supply and terrain down there being so shit its not worth the effort. Unless you want to throw just enough troops down there to tie up all the British since the AI cares more about Africa than garrisoning England for some reason.

Historically accurate. The German colonies held out admirably but with the blockaid the Fatherland could do little but leave them to die slowly.
The Russian surrender event probably didn't happen because they reached their surrender limit. It also happened to me in one game. Given that they usually only have 0-10% war support and some other debuffs, they are very fragile and this can happen before the event.
The mod expects the war to be slower, so by the time the soviets pop off the russians should still have some surrender limit left. This is just what happens when you win too hard
@@t_y8274 They did think about it a little bit. I once made it to Moscow before the Civil War happened, right when I actually captured Moscow it just gave me the normal Brest-Litovsk peace event.
No, I usually cap the Russians, and I always get the peace deal. I think the thing that messed it up was the soviets popping at the exact same time.

@@gnometruther5551 I’ve played Brazil and Korea… also, I’m pretty sure the people making the mod just make focus trees for whomever they want without much centralisation. There isn’t really a plan. (Btw Korea is pretty fun, beating Japan than conquering China)

I really hate the "actually" guy here but I will be; acutally that was Germany kind of primary plan, smash the russians and then turned to finish off the french, its just that the russians fought harder than expected. what I donpt remebr is whether that was consdier with the frensh part of the plan or was an outcome of it
Actually what the Germans expected was that the Russians would take a long time to mobilize.
This is because Russia was known for having difficulties mobilizing the army.
The Germans thought they could push deep into Russia before the army mobilized and then redirect their forces onto France.

WW2 tactics is basically the stormtroopers of Germany, they were excellent at clearing trenches and causing surrenders. Fortunately Germany didn't have enough resources to field them more cause they definitely wouldn't upset the war

I mean they litterally wanted to do lightning warfare in WW1 and it kinda didn't work so......
Reason it didn’t work was because:
1- Before the war started France massively fortified the border and was actively trying to start a war against Germany.
2- Belgium refused to allow German troops to pass through into France forcing Germany to decide between a fighting against a fortified front or an extra resistant country.
