In the meantime, this is how you place images in the reference folder.
1. Connect the headset to your PC and allow “Access to data” in the headset if necessary.
2. Browse to "Quest\Internal shared storage\Android\data\com.Oisoi.PaintingVr\files\Pictures"
3. Place any .jpg or .png files here.
4. Find them in the UI under Browse

Is there another way to get files onto the quest and into the app when you’re not next to a computer? Can you, let’s say, log into a cloud drive in oculus browser and download? I think I will try this.
Did it work for you? I’m still trying to figure another way…. Like maybe save images from google somehow inside the app
The file structure in the actual game does NOT match this tutorial video.. there is NO folder titled "Referenceimages"
Hello paint vr! so i don't have the folder paint vr on my macbook.. how do i get it there? i bought it directly from the oculus store and not from steam on my macbook or something.. can you help me?
Is there a way other than connecting the headset to the pc to import ref images? Like can we use Facebook images? Or can we somehow save an image from the browser inside the app itself?? Because the cord I have doesn’t have a usb plug for my MAC - not sure how to do this without having to but another cord for just this reason. Makes no sense to.
how is this done when playing on the PC version of the game? cant find the reference folder in the game folder

This is outright incorrect. I'm effing sick of EVERY "tutorial" for this app showing buttons and folders that are simply not there. So lame.

We have just finished those, will upload this week. And they'll be available in-game in the next update.
