I moved from CO to FL in 2018 - never looked back. I opened a business in florida and it changed my life. I love visiting NYC, but I am always happy to come home… also, here is another stat. Tech companies moving to FL and since 2020-2023, over 3 million people moved to FL! To put that in perspective, there is less than 6 million people currently living in CO
The violent crime is higher and unless you live in a truly affluent (as in Coral Gables, etc.) community in Florida the public and private schools are some of the most average and sometimes worst in the country …. I am just being honest here. Also the access to opportunity, higher paying jobs etc. is lower in the MAJORITY of areas in Florida compared to NY… also look at how high the violent crime is in FL. You forgot to mention also that other crime is also HIGH in FL. Also I’m Florida you must pay for Hurricane/Flooding insurance. Extremely expensive…
“Private schools are some of the worst” I have to disagree. We have top ranking schools spread all throughout South Florida. You might be talking about Central to North Florida, which, in that case, is way poorer than South Florida, so it only makes sense for their private schools to be ranked lower.
Florida has the fastest growing population in the country while New York had the fastest declining which is mostly due to New York being more expensive. Also the school part depends on where you are in Florida.
You forgot about wind & hail insurance…. IF you can even get it in Florida if you can, you can’t afford it
this sentence doesn’t make sense
STOP COMING TO FLORIDA😭😭 go to Louisiana or sum
Keep these comparings coming. Good info
