I work for Pan Am as a conductor and I can unfortunately tell you first hand that the upper management has no plans to maintain any of our vintage equipment aside from the OCS. They won’t even maintain our engines that we use daily.
Very nice video. 2 Question: Why is Pan Am putting random horns on their C40-8s and 8Ws? (Not that it's a bad thing, because that RS5T sounds good) and Why is Pan Am painting the noses on their locos random colors?
Would it be possible to give a list of the locations that your videos were filmed ? (Nevermind. Apparently I am blind. Thank You for the fantastic video)

It seems that a lot of that equipment is just rotting away while being towed around. I do wish Pan Am would restore some of those old passenger cars.

The G logo is from back when Pan Am Railways was branded as Guilford Rail System prior to 2006.
