We are so close to finishing the shell of the boatbuild. Odisea Catamarans have been helping the project by keeping my costs as low as possible but we need a final push to get us over the line...not the finishing line but the start line to the Elcano World Challenge.

Glad to hear your feeling better, please remember to take care of yourself. Harvey might be a good bloke to have on the crew. I would have like to now more about any electrical back ground. This is the Elcano Challenge after all.
Harvey looks to be a good fit. Solid skills, maybe not much in aluminum, boats, or solar specifically, but he should catch on quick. Took care of his Dad in his final days, he knows it's not always about himself.
Bloke in the video is a keeper. More important than sailing is mental state in a hooley. Dont want to be on a small boat with someone who flys apart like psychotic shrapnel. Novice is good cos they have no bad habits and you can train em your way. Steady minded Stoicism. And he can spanner a bit. Blokes of 60 tend to have a bit of experience of themselves and he seems pretty sure he can cope. He makes a decent video to. Thumbsup

Scotty & Harvey go fishing, Scotties on the phone all day, Harvey throws phone in river, Scotty throws Harvey in river, Plucky comes by throws rock at Harvey, knocks him out to save him,,, He can't swim... And We are not going in crock's everywhere ...

Harvey great video, Us old guys know how to fix stuff.. its a wrench not a spanner. A spanner is something that takes up between A & B, Like a bridge this side to that other side.. Spans the middle. Ain't got one of thoughs ~ here's a 10mm I found..

Sailboat - A machine lost in time and forever timeless... A modern device still dependent on the principles of levers, mechanical advantage, and block and tackle... equipment more appropriate to the building of a pyramid than the moving of a yacht.

Thru-hull bungs double in those kinds of emergencies. Those fishing boats are humongous, better get sailing and spearing soon before they're vacuuming the oceans bare. The brits sure have a strange sense of humour...
