This is my new favorite kitchen tool! Day 1 I was going to pressure cook a meat ruclips.net/user/postUgkxG-7WiT7ocumjytOpHDFt632PL0pxXRAg and potato stew, decided I wouldn't eat it that night so I went with a slow cook so I could go to bed and put it away in the morning. I love that versatility! The sauté feature works great and adds tons of extra flavor to dishes, and I can easily sizzle meats in the bottom then deglaze for some restaurant worthy flavors.Big bonus - you can cook a whole frozen chicken in about 2 hours. Amazing! I've seen a couple videos, haven't tried it yet, but I will soon!
I discovered Khao Soi while traveling around Chiang Mai on a motorcycle. A wonderful elderly lady was selling Khao Soi from a small shed next to the highway in the middle of nowhere, cooking from a huge pot and serving it to lorry drivers and others passing by. It still is one of the best things I have ever tasted in my life. I didn’t speak Thai and she didn’t speak English but that didn’t matter. She knew I loved her food and she kept it coming. She was so sweet and so loving, and an absolute brilliant cook. That right there is one of my all-time favourite holiday memories. Unexpected and so wonderful.
Oh My Goodness! I thought I knew Asian food. Definitely one of my comfort foods! Thank you. I’m still learning. 🤗 I’m looking forward to trying your recipes.
Delicious soups… I’ve made the pork and dumpling noodle soup heaps of times and the Tom yum too… they are on repeat meals for me. Top favourite soups… yummmmmm 🩵🌸
Thai noodle soup, look so delicious, I like Khao Soi soup, because it similar to Cambodia chicken curry, Cambodia chicken curry can serve with steamed rice or Khmer noodle (Nom Banh Chok) also
I can only find frozen won ton wrappers online which will have drefrosted by the time they are delivered no doubt, would it be safe to refreeze the completed wontons made from defrosted wrapper? Also would defrosted egg roll wrappers be safe to refreeze as again i can only find them frozen online. Thanks forr the recipes, i do love to try Thai food even if i am a chilli wimp. Take care, God bless one and all.
Hello miss thank you so much for the most amazing wonderful super delicious incredible Recipe and thank you for your video enjoy 🟡🟡🟡🟡🥰🟥🟥💜♥️♥️♥️💜💗♥️♥️💜💜♥️💜💗🟥🟡🥰💗💗💞💞💓💓🩷
The ultimate spot in Bangkok does a twist on this where they fry the noodles after they're blanced, in pork fat. It adds the most amazing umami bomb. It is 100 times better than any other version in town. I won't write the name here since it's a tiny shop and I don't want it to get overrun, but reply if you want the address.
Oh man, the recipe shows 1/2 sugar. I thought that meant 1/2 cup but based on the image it looks like 1/2 tb spoon 😢. Good things I only added partial. Other than that it looks good. Thank you for the recipe!
Do you shoot videos in Thailand? The ingredients look fresh and most importantly the food you make looks original and looks delicious. I admire you.(I'm Thai)
hi marion! im in bangkok right now, and i'd love to try the wonton & bbq noodle soup from the street cart you mentioned! is it near a bts station? I'm living right next to the Phra Kanong BTS right now :) hope you're doing well, and hope to hear from you
I need to learn how to do that noodle slurp. I always choke when I slurp. And our Filipino grandmas won't like it. Filipino etiquettes are such an anti-Asian tradition. 😢
I love your recipes and over the years quite a few have become family favorites but I must say that I do miss your earlier videos. They were not as slick and generically professional but your presence and natural charm really shone through in the early ones. This is more of a comment than a criticism and I’m sure very few people share my opinion. Good luck and keep these fabulous recipes coming 😊
Well I guess I'm in the minority here but if I saw or heard someone slurp their noodles loudly I couldn't handle it. Guess it's best to make at home, recipes look delicious!

Dang, I'm making a Tofu, pork belly and Kimchi stew for dinner tonight and now really want a Tom Yum soup instead 🤤
Tom yum it’s my number one for real

I so love your Khao Soy recipe. Easily my favorite Thai dish and, depending where you are in the world, it can be hard to get at restaurants.
Your videos are amazing and your dishes look equally impressive.
Does anyone know if I can use dried galangal root if I soak it in hot water? I have looked everywhere for it fresh but can't find it.
I'm hungry but it's 11pm so I just have to make due with Marion's soup video 😅

Love your channel from Thailand 🇹🇭 ❤️
You never see young galangal in my Asian store. They all look brown , like ginger, old.
FOR MY DEAREST LANDLORD LOUIE HERRERA'S WIFE MRS HERRERA'S GOOD COOKING ALL OVER FACEBOOK TODAY AND MY PINTEREST ACCOUNT IN HER HONOR SISTER!!!!
Slurping noodles is a nasty Japanese habit. Thais eat quietly and are grossed out by chewing/eating noises.
I love it
Our peppers come from Mexico so it not spicy like the Thai chili.

There is no kaffir lime in khao soi, or in most northern Thai dishes for that matter.
