- Welcome to OverAnalzyed, our Overwatch coaching series! Today we travel back to BRONZE! People have been asking for Bronze Lucio, so let's take a look at a player stuck in the elo hell of BRONZE who CLAIMS they played Brig, Lucio and Moira! Overwatch bronze gameplay is just something else. But one thing I've noticed over the years is, Overwatch Bronze players are actually getting much better. They tend to understand how to play their heroes, but they make the most INSANE decisions. One moment they do something great! Like, shield bash a charging Rein... the next second they rush the enemy front lines thinking they're Brig 1.0 FEEDING LIKE CRAZY! Overwatch Bronze players, listen to me... Hey Sty, I know you feel jebaited, but for the sake of being fair, this guy's email could easily mean he ALSO plays Moira and Lucio and so switching to one would be valid advice and NOT that he plays all 3 in this game. Just before he gets perma-banned from submitting, something to consider.

I have a feeling what u say is the case but I don’t see any screenshot of the email or him ever read the email and it saying something like “I usually play Brig/Moria/Lucio. I just want a time stamp bc I can’t find the proof for this...
When you send in a clip you have to specify the heroes that you play in the clip separately to the email. So the player could have selected three heroes in that section.
People should probably be more clear in their e-mails then? You can look this from two sides. Saying that he misunderstood the message might aswell be false.

Punctuation means a lot, and judging by your comment, you fail to grasp the concepts. Reading yours you said you are like dude, whomever dude is. How is the fact you are like dude? I mean technically I think you were meaning this: I'm like "Dude, pay attention to words because they're important!" ... Ahem.
Also logic matters. Might wanna check out the form for submitting clips. There is a field for "heroes played" pertaining to the submitted entry.

This isn’t your everyday Bronze. This is advanced Bronze.
This is someone from high silver/low gold that fell into a bad habits cycle. I was stuck in high bronze after my second ever season of comp but the season prior placed in low gold. This was pre queue days. In Diamond now but back then I was stuck in high bronze for 2 years because shotcalling kids in Bronze was impossible then so I just gave up. Then I met my squad. We all climbed a lot because we had good chemistry. My advice although there are certainly ways to improve at any rank, when you solo queue you have a higher chance of encountering throwers, trolls and smurfs. Coordinated teams also still seem to be like winning a lottery at bronze and silver especially.

hey sty, i just sent in a clip as well and noticed in the section where you are supposed to say who you played, it could be easily misinterpreted for characters you normally play as and not the characters you played specifically in the clip. This is probably where his confusion came from, and i personally do not think you were jebaited on purpose :)

You can either record the replay on your Xbox and then upload it to either one drive or Xbox Live
. if you upload it to one drive then access one drive on your computer or phone and then download the video and after that upload it to RUclips then email him the video. Or if you upload it to Xbox Live then access the Xbox app on your phone down the video and then upload it to RUclips and email it to him.
Or if you want to save time just export the replay so you get a code for it then just email him the code.

I'm a bronze player and I watch your videos for as many tips as I can get but I just want to say I really appreciate that you will help a bronze player from time to time. I know it's bad play a lot and they are often surrounded by even more bad play, but seeing it and hearing you take it apart and then show what it would look like when you put it back together is extremely helpful! So many of us don't realize we are playing something on a character wrong because it seems to have worked for us before or maybe we don't switch out when we need to help our team or maybe we need major help with positioning, etc. All of your suggestions help and it's great that you take the time on us far more casual players who aren't really trying to get to diamond so much as we are trying hard to be an asset to our teams and not throw whether we know we are doing it or not. Thank you!

I can tell this is a bronze game because when you went on board with the Mercy when Brig was dead, I never once saw a blue beam even on full health allies! 😂
Jeremy Supple this is what I absolutely HATE about bronze, silver mercy players. They NEVER or rarely use damage boost.
I’m a bronze player. I got an alt, “smurf” if you will (although I am Bronze soo) played to level 25. Did placements and got diamond. Sometimes it’s just hard to climb out.

I wouldn't ban him Sty. I think what they meant was they play Brigette, Lucio and Moira as the supports they usually use. Not that they mean they were going to play all 3 of them in the clip they sent you. I think it might have been a misunderstanding with what you read. But yeah their Brig play wasn't terrible either so i think they could at least be high silver or low gold if they adjust some of the things you talked about. Like the small mistakes and uses of abilities at awkard times.
This guy nearly made me sick with the random flicking and the shield spam, and I've never been motion sick a day in my life...
i would argue that a lot of the really good plays like the counter charge on rein was by accident and not a demonstration of skill
It bothers me SOOOO much that the entire kill feed is just red all the time for most of the game and theres no difference in teams. It eventually fixed itself but still.

I was stuck in bronze for the longest when I first started learning to play. I was in silver for a few. I just breeze past it. Then I was stuck in gold for a few months. I peaked high plat this season but I mostly stay mid plat.
This is the case for me too I almost got into gold but then I fell back into bronze

People in Bronze/Silver/Gold often do NOT realize you can melee sym turrets. They also love running in and just staring while the turret destroys them for some reason.

The shield toggle might be a tic-symptom. Should get that checked, they're usually harmless but you don't want them in Overwatch

Only blocked shatter for literally no1 but Brig's self. There is literally a 3rd person perspective shown of the Sigma right behind Brig, being flattened from the shatter.
Bronze support is honestly a nightmare. Every rein is suicidal and it's making me wonder if I'll ever be able to escape it.

I get a lot of throwers and smurfs in bronze that mostly ruin the games. Plus I always get close to silver but then have a massive losing streak

26:11 i have played matches in bronze where my team has spent over 5 min stalled at the choke and never moving because they cant get an opening. sometimes in BRONZE if a healer does not make an opening then the match never moves.
This is it. Tanks in bronze don't move forward so you need to try something. And more often than not it works. In fact it works all the way up until gold.

I'd like to see a GM, which doesn't smurf a dps hero, rank up through bronze using support (to tanks which don't push and do random charges like we saw here) or tank (with supports who don't focus on healing and are always out of position like we saw here). Would be interesting to see if the ranking system actually works
I'm a bronze Brig player and so much of what this Brig was doing triggered me to death!
You probably do the same but dont realize you do it. A quick tip is to focus on one area that you can improve a day then you will get out of bronze instantly

I can understand why he would okay brig that way, everything about brig screams play aggressive but they nerfed her kit into this niche play style.

I’m pretty sure they meant they also play Moira and Lúcio in general. I don’t think they meant it as they play those heroes in this clip, but they play those heroes aswell as Brig in different games. Pretty sure Stylosa just didn’t understand that correctly.

Saif Alwahab fair enough, I feel like he could be either depending on your team comp. I think that an aggro Winston is more of a side tank because he won’t be right next to his team to bubble and body block them.

I was a GM level lucio on console. My aim is shit and I DC’d to of my placements going to PC. I’m shit with a mouse and keyboard too. Placed me in bronze. Support ELO hell is actually a thing. I had to completely change the way I played Lucio. No one follows speed boost call outs. Team only wants heals. No Orissa pulls close to edges. I had to go complete reddit lucio mode to get out of bronze. Once I got to gold people started playing properly. Now I’m mid diamond.
Stylosa, can you make an overanalyzed with your gameplay? I think this would help me see the thought process I need to have as I move up the ranks.
