With this VLOG we start our Ratnagiri trip, the events covered in this VLOG was our Day 1 at Ratnagiri. We reached Ratnagiri on 27/05/24, and during the second half of the day we visited some of the famous places in Ratnagiri. All these places were withing the city limits and therefore, we preferred to cover them on Day 1 itself.
The places we visited were - i) Fish Aquarium, ii) Ratnadurg fort & Shree Devi Bhagwati Mandir, iii) Hotel Aamntran for lunch, iv) Thiba Palace, v) Lokmanya Tilak Smarak & vi) Mandvi Beach.
Unfortunately, Thiba Palace was closed as it was Monday and renovation work was in progress at Lokmanya Tilak Smarak, therefore, we were slightly disappointed with this. We were therefore unable to capture more details about these historical monuments in our camera.
But the fish aquarium and Ratnadrug form was worth visiting and finally the lunch at Hotel Aamantran was beyond our expectations. So overall we had a satisfactory time to start our journey.
