This song is still on my Halloween playlist every October! 'Back When' was a good single as well. For all that though even at the time they were a poor man's S Club 7 crossed with Steps with the 'having a fictional TV show as well as being a band in real life' bit. You only need to look at the way Hear'Say who released the same year as them and were from an even newer TV to pop concept with Popstars (2001) fell off a cliff after initial success because that style of pop music was on its way out. Also small fact: Sam (the one with the dark hair) was owner of a company I had an interview at many moons ago. Did take all my resistance not to burst into a rendition of this to his face a la Miranda Hart TBH.
The good old days; when you could understand what they were singing, when Britian had freedom, labour party was in charge, until 2009. It is scary how peoplw still vote conservative this day and age.
Funny how they played this song in the Scooby Doo movie to emphasise the monsters being fake was old news and their real now and that’s what everybody wanted Scooby Doo to be for years but years later the follow ups to Zombie Island and 13 Ghosts seemed to be made to undo that idea and make Scooby like the original again like people were always cool with it.
I came here trying to remember who they were and what that show was! My partner didn't have a clue what I was on about 😭😭😭 and I've just realised I'm replying to a 6 year old comment... Ah well if anything enjoy the nostalgia of the song again 😂😂
I used to love playing this on my cassette when I was at school along with 5ive and steps and spice girls... Now I come home from work And see Darren on hollyoaks... Wonder where the rest of them are
Im here because 18 years ago this played in my work place on repeat all day everyday, mixed with George Micheal, Boy George & westlife. Drove me insaine n now just heard it again 😂😞
I heard this song on Scooby Doo when I was so little, and would randomly hum it. I can’t believe it’s taken me this long to actually go and look for it at 23 🤣.
So many questions if they're scared why do they start dancing, why'd did the guy towards the end start singing like the dude from aqua and most importantly why do they pelvic thrust when they say "bump in the night" at 2:04 and 3:34 I thought this was a song about Scooby doo
This is like 1 out of 6 freaky music videos 1. "Thriller" by Michael Jackson 2. "Everybody (Backstreet's Back)" by Backstreet Boys 3. "Things That Go Bump In The Night" by Allstars 4. "Superstition" by Raven-Symone 5. "Calling All The Monsters" by China Anne McClain 6. "Everybody Talks" by Neon Trees
Bonnie Tyler's 1986 song 'If You Were A Woman And I Was A Man' is where the original melody began then Desmond Child rewrote the song as 'You Give Love A Bad Name' by Bon Jovi the melody was also used in the chorus of Cher's 1987 song 'Give Our Love A Fighting Chance' and it was used by Ankie Bagger for her song 'Where Were You Last Night'.
Very Back Streets Back. Is this one done in Sweden too? I have now listened to this one, Land of .., Best Friends and Back When, and have to say the latter is by far the better, in my op. I`m not gonna judge their individual talent on 4 clips, but as a package it doesn`t work, I`m afraid. But that is my opinion. Feel free to disagree - but plz don`t tell me.
This was basically the kids version of Thriller....
Late Reply
I guess the lyrics are similar but the music videos are completely different.
@@thebostonpowers42 Not really, both the video and the lyrics are clearly trying to invoke/copy/homage/whatever to Thriller
@@wildste please ... the video doesn't look like a thriller
@@isipizzi774 It's not, but it's clearly trying to copy it. The key word being, copy
It's a Halloween tradition to come and listen to this now!
Absolutely. The season is here, again! 2015, wait all year for October!
Now that I've heard the full song yes
this is the most 2000s music
Sounds more late 90's to me, and I love that
@@HalendleofLoc nope more 80s but with early 00s combination and thats AWESOME!!

Alton Towers had this on repeat in the hotel restaurant for the four days I was there for Scarefest 2021, and I ended up here.
i love this about like 2002, where this meant literally bump in the night, zombies and stuff ... 2011 and everything is a sex reference :3

The 2 boys in this are very handsome. Since this song is from Scooby-Doo (2002), I thought the lead singer was Daphne. LOL! The woman at 3:54.
Darren Osborne from Hollyoaks and the girl from Microsoap, lol.
Is it really Darren??
@@Txbstar yep, it's him
Thalia was the Bunny Boiler and the fake golden ticket winner for Big Brother
Came across this song when I was seventeen and was going through my lonely no one loves me phase
I’m still in this phase at 32
This is the best Halloween song ever made, hands down.
The early 2000's...the times of showing your belly button, spiked hair, and boatneck tops.
Hi
I used to do stage coach dancing to this! back in the good old days :D like 6 years ago! I miss this! :'(

Used to love this group. I watched the TV show and then I bought their album. I still have the CD!

Catchy song, trippy video.
Today I realized that the chorus of "Kings and Queens" by Ava Max sounds similar to this song!
It really sounds similar.

That's Tyler Zukki the bunny boiler off balls of steel. In addition, it seems things DO go bump in the night-pelvis' mostly.
"I hate it when things go bump in the night. I can't fall asleep and end up listening to this"
I'm watching this in 2019 because our school is going a musical based on this concept
You got crazy baby bump in the night
