    I had read the article on why Metrolink decided to do this because at first, while watching a few of your videos I was thinking to myself why the heck is there BNSF power on a commuter train? As soon as I read the reasoning why it all started to make sense.

      +Bill "Philippe" Mesker aka Minitrucke231 After the Oxnard collision derailment they found that the new cab car had some flaws so they decided to lease these BNSF freight engines for safety reasons as they act as a safer front engine while the cab cars design is reviewed. They may have to upgrade all the new cab cars if they find they aren't up to standard so the freight engines might be around for awhile.
