This doesn't feel authentic unless it's running at about 3 frames per second, just crawling through the maze due to underfunded computer school hardware.

Watching this for a few minutes made me realize how the computer just keeps making right turns within each part of the maze until it’s been explored, and only making left turns when it’s the only turn available. And when it’s upside down, these turns are reversed. I always assumed it was just random.
Playing at half speed (0.5x) feels like pretty much exactly what I remember as a kid watching this on our home PC. (A Packard Bell, I do believe it was.)
