I used usps priority mail. They are pretty good but for me they only have to go down south a few hundred miles so nothing crazy. Also, I used an official priority mail box from usps, it was free at the post office.
At the time they had a special going on so they were "only" $10 each, not including shipping costs. Ended up being worth it as I got a good amount of 10's compared to all my other PSA submissions.
Not bad for your 1st submission! I’m sure someone else has already said this, but a bccg 10 is never a 10 in BGS, PSA, or SGC. Overall though you came out pretty good!🙌🏻🤘🏻 from what i saw on the 5, centering was def off rt to left, and I thought I saw chipping around the edges. And some wear on the surface. Cool video! Your Skybox 8 has a brown stain/print error or surface issue in it on the right side. Under MJ's elbow by his hip. Also, "Pack fresh" isn't a real thing. I mean, people say it, but it isn't a thing. Even ripe, off the vine fruit can have bruises or damage to it. Same w cards. Your PSA 5 is a tough one. I would be curious to see the bare surface in the light. You can never submit a card in a different holder and expect a subjective grade once they have already seen someone else's grade. I bet you could submit a pristine condition card in a BCCG holder and they would still give it an 8 or whatever. It sucks but it's the way it is.

The hope was high but delivery of a 5 hurts. Based on the criteria it seemed that it should have been higher than a 5... possibly 6/7. Also, I sent in a BCCG 10, not knowing how bad BCCG is, now that I'm more educated with BCCG I'll be more cautious.
BCCG is a joke, the cards are not anything close to 10s when they say it is. Its close to a scam. And that 88 Fleer AS Jordan isn't close to a 9. Centering is off, there are print marks on it, so a 5 or 6 is probably fair
Damn it BCCG!!! They have ruined my bank account lol I only bought less than 20 and will post a video after I get them back from PSA in about 6 months to see how bad they really are.
You shouldn’t really be surprised by the PSA 5 - BCCG grades almost anything a 10 bc its all vintage. Plus the card is off-centered and probably has surface, corner, and edge issues. Nice cards tho!
the Jordan baseball card was a 10. ive looked up 10s and the centering on 90% I see is literally no different than yours. but see they pick and choose who they give that cards 10 to. it has value. they'll throw you 10s on ones that dont bring in real money. and that fleer card brings in real money so they give you a 5 because they wana control how many are in the public with high numbers and they want a certain number of 5,6,7 out in public so you fell into the 5. they literally are controlling the market with their gradings and have books with every card and have a specific number of what they want in the public over the next 100 years so they have a specific way of doing this. its really messed up. but if youre a personal friend or one of the accounts that spends 100k+ a year with them they'll give you the 10! but if your a small nobody who sends in a few batches here and there you dont get the 10 on those kind of cards. its really really messed up man. this isnt my personal conspiracy opinion either this a full blown fact
It's so unfortunate to see that it looks that way! As that was my first PSA I'm not thrilled about what I have been learning over the past year. Just a crazy game they play.

Some of these companies like HGA and CGC will get into that top 5 for grading companies for demand as long as they have a pop report, instead of just being a top 3 group which is basically what we had in 2020 with PSA, BGS and SGC. Going to be fun to see how sales values fluctuate across the various grading companies. Sooooooo many people pumping money into the hobby. There is room for it all.
@@masscollector4511 that's great info and perspective! Thanks for sharing!!!
Did you do any research whatsoever before submitting those BCCG cards??
Not even a little! Lol it was my first submission and had no idea bccg would be so different. Unfortunately learned the hard way. I did crack and submit 20 cards last week to PSA just to see what grades I get there. I now have low hopes.
@@JLWStudyRoom haha yeah.. most BCCG 10s, you’d be lucky to get back as PSA 7’s.
When you do a submission do you send the cards in top loaders? Thinking about doing my first submission to PSA sometime in the next few months
No, they say not to. I'm trying to buy more card savers but they are sold out and people are up charging so I'll have to wait. You can try other companies like Ultra Pro and BCW, I think it's $25 for 200
Go to PSA collector on RUclips and watch his tutorial on how to send in your cards.

Great place prices on card savers can be found on the Mercari app
The Jordan PSA 5 looking at it the only thing I saw was wrong with it was the lower bottom Edge was a little rough on the back can't tell if it was rough on the front of the card but it should a graded out a PSA 7 I would just resubmit that card it will come back higher only came back so low cuz it was graded by another company oh, I've had Beckett bccg 10 cracked open sent into PSA got a nine usually it a Beckett bccg 10 will get a PSA 9 unless you send it in a Beckett holder then it will always great lower I sent one in got a 7 just the way things are you have to play the game 2 get the grade
That was my mistake sending it for them to crack
Lol also the Pop control on Jordans is insane. Hope for the Best Expect the worst.
Is pop control a real thing? That doesn't seem like an ethical thing.
@@JLWStudyRoom lol yes go look at the Nolan Ryan RC. I believe only 1 exists, and the owner has connections to PSA somehow.

Congrats on the grades! Lots of 9s and 10s. Even the PSA 8 Jordan baseball rookie has some value. Take care!
Thanks!!! Yeah I'm surprised about the 8 having value.
Did you resubmit the psa 5? If so, What did you get on resubmission?
Yeah, it will be a few months unfortunately. Fingers crossed 7+
Yeah the centering is off but 5 seems low, real low.
Love your videos! Ready to submit my first order to psa. I’m stuck with what carrier to use. Any suggestions? Usps registered? Any suggestions would be great.
I used usps priority mail. They are pretty good but for me they only have to go down south a few hundred miles so nothing crazy. Also, I used an official priority mail box from usps, it was free at the post office.
How much did it cost u to get all them graded
At the time they had a special going on so they were "only" $10 each, not including shipping costs. Ended up being worth it as I got a good amount of 10's compared to all my other PSA submissions.
Cool video. I just bought the Michael J. With the 12 on the jersey.
It's a pretty cool card, did you buy it raw or graded?
Bought it raw its in ok condition was $ 3.00 I had to have it in my collection. Its like an error card.
I haven't submitted any cards yet but I have a awesome collection of baseball. I would like to film my first too.
That would be great! They have quarterly specials which was my first few but it's still a few hundred when you actually pay... a little pricey
Cool video! Thanks for sharing!!
SGC also is known for giving higher grades than PSA and BGS
Thanks for the info! I agree but that was pretty harsh... I cracked it and resubmitted it, also gave it a little polish. I want to see if they grade it different without them having to crack the BCCG case. I'm happy with those overall... the 2nd round of cards were not so nice lol
But the returns aren't as high, right? I do hear that SGC is the 2nd best company, hopefully they can become the best company.
@@JLWStudyRoom another company that is on the rise is HGA. They’re grading scale is most like BGS and they use high-res pictures and AI to grade the card.

The 89 Fleer cards were worth the wait
Definitely! Surprised with the sticker but won't complain lol
@@JLWStudyRoom Looking at the sticker closely it meets the minimum 30/70 centering requirements so grade was accurate.
A 7 would have been tough on that, let alone a 5. I would resub it!
Great video!
Thanks for the comments!!! And good eye on those cards. Oh my "pack fresh" comment is made jokingly, I find it amusing.
The PSA 5 hurt for sure. I resent it maybe a month ago with the current status still set to "arrived" probably get it back in July.

Awesome cards. I ironically just sent off 3 89 Fleer Jordan stickers and 1 89 reg. Do you get am email when the grades are complete? First time sending off. Thanks.
That's awesome, this was my first as well. You'll be waiting 5-6 months. You will receive an email when they receive the package, that's officially logging it, then another through a couple steps in the process. At the end they will send you an email with the grades (I didn't read that one) and lastly a shipping email.

I definitely feel your pain as I did the same thing before getting back into collecting. His cards from the 80s and early 90s go for a lot. Even his 1990 Fleer went for well over $1,000. A couple years ago you couldn't give those boxes away and now they sell for maybe $300?!?!

For the Jordan's I did the quarterly special. It was $10 per card
Low the video!! Have you seen the pop count on the UD Space Jam MJ Stickers? So low and cheap for now

You can never submit a card in a different holder and expect a subjective grade once they have already seen someone else's grade. I bet you could submit a pristine condition card in a BCCG holder and they would still give it an 8 or whatever. It sucks but it's the way it is.
I agree, I was just happy to send cards out at the time, now I'm a little bit smarter, not much, but a little
And oh yeah, that special was for for 90's basketball cards during the "Jordan years", not JUST for Jordans.
The special before that was Jordan only, I think March- June then June- September was 90's... I don't I'll be submitting too many Jordan cards past 90 unless there's another special.

Hahahhahaha! My all time favorite movie line!!!
You gotta educate yourself more what bccg is... even if it's from becket, the rating is dumbed down in a way for collector's to get their cards faster. Their grading scale is not the same at all.
I'm seeing that now so I've been staying away from them for sure
Its cool that PSA put Michael Jordan instead of Chicago Bull on the team card.
Lol I found that pretty funny too, should say the team but now it's an official MJ card
Bccg grades don’t cross over well. BCCG is not the same as BSG. I would pay much for a bccg grade, better off buying raw.
I agree with you. I went down the BCCG rabbit hole thinking I was onto something... I wasn't, unless overpaying was what I was chasing.

I have always refused to have some kid at PSA grade my cards with no reasons given as to their grade. If the person grading is having a shitty day,,,oh well
That's definitely my concern!!! I got some 8's that look a lot worse than my 6's. I would definitely be the worst grader, I never know what a raw would grade at.

On the PSA Website is a Information Sheet what is a PSA5,6,7,8,9 and 10. Everyone who tells yah this isnever a PSA5 it deserves an 8... man just look to the Information on the Website and Check the Card and Informations for the Grade and you will see it makes sense. Corner Issues, Surface Sratches, Colors, Print Lines, Centering and so on...
Every Graded Number has a Reason... and with every Slabed Card Worth has Increase... so why you are frustrated ?
The hope was high but delivery of a 5 hurts. Based on the criteria it seemed that it should have been higher than a 5... possibly 6/7. Also, I sent in a BCCG 10, not knowing how bad BCCG is, now that I'm more educated with BCCG I'll be more cautious.
@@JLWStudyRoom BCCG is not PSA and a Crossover from BCCG10 you will get a PSA5 or 6 max.
@@deejayliquidofficial unfortunately I learned this the hard way.
BCCG is a joke, the cards are not anything close to 10s when they say it is. Its close to a scam. And that 88 Fleer AS Jordan isn't close to a 9. Centering is off, there are print marks on it, so a 5 or 6 is probably fair

You shouldn’t really be surprised by the PSA 5 - BCCG grades almost anything a 10 bc its all vintage. Plus the card is off-centered and probably has surface, corner, and edge issues. Nice cards tho!
I was really hoping for a 7 at the worst but yeah overall VERY happy with the rest of the grades.
Just subbed

A bccg 10 will NEVER grade a psa 9 or 10. EVER.
Lesson... learned... expensive lessons...
Never say never
the Jordan baseball card was a 10. ive looked up 10s and the centering on 90% I see is literally no different than yours. but see they pick and choose who they give that cards 10 to. it has value. they'll throw you 10s on ones that dont bring in real money. and that fleer card brings in real money so they give you a 5 because they wana control how many are in the public with high numbers and they want a certain number of 5,6,7 out in public so you fell into the 5. they literally are controlling the market with their gradings and have books with every card and have a specific number of what they want in the public over the next 100 years so they have a specific way of doing this. its really messed up. but if youre a personal friend or one of the accounts that spends 100k+ a year with them they'll give you the 10! but if your a small nobody who sends in a few batches here and there you dont get the 10 on those kind of cards. its really really messed up man. this isnt my personal conspiracy opinion either this a full blown fact
It's so unfortunate to see that it looks that way! As that was my first PSA I'm not thrilled about what I have been learning over the past year. Just a crazy game they play.
That sticker #3 def not an 8 way off center. The 120 looks better than 5
