at one side I understand as to why Aku tried to stab Jack with the katana. that would not only have made Aku the forever-winner, it would have also humiliated Jack. on the other side, I can't believe how dumb Aku was: right after the first failed attempt, I would have fled the scene with the katana and hid it somewhere on a far planet, surrounded by and camouflaged with darkest magic.
@@NCRVeteranRanger the fact that Aku's flaming eyebrows hilariously disappeared truly signified he was in complete shock his brain stopped functioning.

Especially interesting is that Jack has been enganged in battle with Aku for so long that, here, he admitted to have forgotten the origin of the sword. Just goes to point how long Jack's struggle to bring down Aku is.
I love how the lore was kept consistent here "In the hand of evil, it can never harm an innocent" So when Jack uses it to kill a harmless animal outta pure rage, he wasn't 'evil' so his strike still managed to cause harm but also still abandoned Jack as he still hurt something that didn't deserve it.
I howled with laughter at this scene. This scene was very important because it really does draw home in Season 5 that the sword truly is the only thing that can defeat Aku and this sword is so powerful that it can't even kill Jack
One way to think of it is that Jack didnt think he was totally innocent. His grief and pain washed a way when he remembered and realized that the sword cannot harm the innocent.
The first time I saw this, I expected this to end with the classic hero-breaks-free-after-villain-starts-monologuing route. But Aku doesn't take any chances and it's enough for him for Jack to know he was killed by his own sword.
They did a great lead up to this moment, underscoring that the sword could cut through anything, backed by Aku's super-strength. Of course, evil trips itself up. Aku could have destroyed Jack through his own powers, once he had Jack pinned. But of course, he wanted the complete victory of using Jack's own sword to do it.

Between his eyebrows going out and turning into a mouse, you have one of the funniest moments of the entire series after one of its most nightmarish episodes.
I LOVE akus genuine shock in this scene, it's one of my top favorite scenes with him. Mako did such a fantastic job with this character my god
The voice acting is so good here! You can feel the genuine fear in Aku's voice as he's getting slashed! Man I miss these kinds of cartoons from my childhood!
When Mako Iwamatsu passed away, it wasn't the same.
@@devinreis5811 Yes it was, stop shitting on his replacement who did a perfect job.
@@Bacxaber Greg Baldwin didn't do a bad job filling the shoes of a fellow former SNL cast member.
Both are and were men with a wonderful voice acting talent. piridiot
Baldwin was great but you can’t just replace Mako. Mako was a truly unique voice talent that was lost.
*Me:* About to squash a bug with some toilet paper.
*Bug:* Gets away unharmed.
*Me:* How!? HOW!!!!??
Cause it’s fucking paper
Maybe it's because you're an idiot and you should've used bug spray
Bug spray? Why would I have bug spray just lying around. The hell do you think I am? Batman?
Unless you live in Australia where mankind is at war with bugs, or you have a major infestation, bug spray is a major overkill. Toilet paper has a 99% success-rate thank you.
@@The_Moe_Szyslak_Exp_feat_Homer In a world with spiders, only 100% is acceptable. If that spider lives, so does the chance of revenge.
Maybe it was a cockroach
I like to believe that Mako recorded the mouse line at the end with nothing but the pure skill of his voice.
INSANE SKILL 😂
at one side I understand as to why Aku tried to stab Jack with the katana. that would not only have made Aku the forever-winner, it would have also humiliated Jack. on the other side, I can't believe how dumb Aku was: right after the first failed attempt, I would have fled the scene with the katana and hid it somewhere on a far planet, surrounded by and camouflaged with darkest magic.
As another comment said, Aku's *GREAT FLAMING EYEBROWS* extinguishing was Aku's Brain blue screening
Alternative universe:
Sword:doesn't harm Jack*
Aku:Kills Jack with laser eyes*
THE END
True tho why did he not kill him with his laser eyes or maby he forgot about his body while he stabbed Jack????
@@miltonbrito26 Probably the sheer shock was enough to stall him.
@@NCRVeteranRanger the fact that Aku's flaming eyebrows hilariously disappeared truly signified he was in complete shock his brain stopped functioning.
He be hitting his hand his laser eyes are to big and not pin point accurate
😂
AKU's reaction was both priceless and accurate.
Aku sounded like he trying to get that 5th kill for a bloodthirsty but died. “HOWW?? HOWWWW” 😂
This is die hard funny🤣🤣🤣🤣
that hole aku makes to stab him directly in the heart is absolutely horryfing, i cant really explain why, just makes you feel disgustingly trapped
Aku's reaction is so good. He's in utter shock. It's literally how everyone would react
0:35 gets me everytime 💀
Hahahahahaha me tooo lmfaooo
The zoomoutttttt
The way Aku says "HOOOWWW!! HOOWWW!!?" is me when I make my way through the enemies blind spot and in a complete hidden spot yet still get killed the moment I stay still
I will forever love when a hero and villain are united in equal confusion and share a "YOU SEE THIS, RIGHT?" look XD
0:08 When you finally manage to sneak up on the fly you've been chasing around the house for 30 minutes

0:34 😂 the best Aku moment I've ever seen.
Aku: I'm confused.
Jack: You're confused? I'M confused, bro!

I laughed so hard man
Cartoon Network was soooo good back in my days
Aku: **tries to stab Jack**
Sword: *That's illegal*
Also Aku: NANI!!!

aku's facial expressions are worth gold. the frustration in the reapeated stabbing xD
HOW!? HOW???!!! Lmao best scene
That was my reaction when Trump won!
Deji Adeleye I had to deal with 8 years of Obama’s bullshit. You can do 4 or 8 years of trump.
When my friend kills me with a combo I didnt think he could pull off
Let's turn it into a meme
I am so late to continue the series
I'm finally on S3!
Especially interesting is that Jack has been enganged in battle with Aku for so long that, here, he admitted to have forgotten the origin of the sword. Just goes to point how long Jack's struggle to bring down Aku is.
I love how the lore was kept consistent here
"In the hand of evil, it can never harm an innocent"
So when Jack uses it to kill a harmless animal outta pure rage, he wasn't 'evil' so his strike still managed to cause harm but also still abandoned Jack as he still hurt something that didn't deserve it.
Love how Aku as he's running backwards, he looks like he's one of those guys in movies one stilts as the stilts are cut bit by bit
1:09 Samurai Jack, the human lawnmower.
Lol
I howled with laughter at this scene. This scene was very important because it really does draw home in Season 5 that the sword truly is the only thing that can defeat Aku and this sword is so powerful that it can't even kill Jack
1:30 It’s a mouse.🐁 😆
One way to think of it is that Jack didnt think he was totally innocent. His grief and pain washed a way when he remembered and realized that the sword cannot harm the innocent.
Aku was having ping spikes before the first gamers were even born.
The first time I saw this, I expected this to end with the classic hero-breaks-free-after-villain-starts-monologuing route. But Aku doesn't take any chances and it's enough for him for Jack to know he was killed by his own sword.
0:43 aku calling out hacks
Samurai Jack had the perfect amount of comedy.
The pure terror on Aku's face brings me so much joy
Sword: umm no
me: shreds paper
The paper:

And committed mass genocide
I too have a piece of paper that can only be harmed by a magic sword and tries to kill me as I cut away at it

love how Jack and Aku look at each other for answers. Those two have a bond you can also see when Aku challenges Jack to a duel

0:43 When you die to an across the map Throwing Knife at the start of the round.
When he says “...forgive me father..I have failed you....” it always makes me choke up.
Mako Iwamatsu was a different kind of beast. One of the best voice actors in animation.
