This was one of those few cartoons that was really amazing and was masterfully done. It’s not just a bunch of humor or bad writing or basic action. There’s beauty and genius and long periods of time where there’s no dialogue but the story is still being told. Hell, the beginning of the whole series started with several minutes of no dialogue, and it was amazing. Even Phil Lamar said how he was shocked with how long there was no dialogue and how great the show was. This and Avatar: The Last Airbender are possibly the two best cartoon shows ever made.

Ye, the 2nd and 3rd book of avatar are amazing! Book 1 is not that great though.
The ending where Jack destroys the pool is one of the best. It shows you how noble and pure he is to not succumb to evil or corruption.

This is perhaps one of the most iconic moments of the series and what really made it stand out from other cartoons at the time. The episodes preceding it followed this same formula, but this one really took it to a whole new level with showing Jack listening to the individual sounds and then bringing them together, and then using that same emphasis on sound in the battle as he makes his way to the tower. The sound direction was simply amazing in this episode

A shield would have worked, but this way is cooler
The first minutes of the episode is nothing but an army of robot getting wrecked by thoses arrows. A shield wouldn't have helped.

If you watched the episode, these three managed to destroy an entire army of robots. None of the robots managed to even get near their tower. If Jack had used a shield here, he would have been overwhelmed.
Lol it ended when they're about to touch tips, adult swims sure knows whats safe for kids.

This show was the genius of art.
Samurai Jack is an incredibly complex and meaningful show. Most people feel a connection to it, not just because of the surface level entertainment value and the beautiful animation, but because on the deeper level it is essentially a compilation of parables and life lessons. Much like Greek mythology or ancient oral traditions. This type of storytelling is engrained in our DNA.
The serenity and intrigue of Samurai Jack is so rare to find in pretty much any TV show is appalling

An amazing show and what is arguably their most amazing scene.
Using little dialogue they tell you soo much with the sounds and visuals. A master class.
And not just out of necessity. Jack sought to face the Archers on an equal battlefield.
I love samurai jack cause it’s so mysterious and just the plot is so good
And the animation was top notch given the shows budget.
Its a shame the final season ending was so shit
who sees the arrows passing within hairs of each other only to find the other assassin's jugulars. or Jack striking in the moment the ping of the splintering arrow heads distracts the archers enough to be relieved of their blindness for Ever.
4:24 the more I watch the show as i get older the more I notice the amount of attention to detail in this show has... Knotice how the arrow has a slit. Real arrows have this to let it sit nicely on the bows string to allow for a more accurate shot, same with the feathers. Amazing attention to detail.

There is no way they could do a live action of this and do it justice.
Unlike most Cartoons on Cartoon Network nowadays that are mostly by the book, this show was Art. Pure intriguing delicate art

the music is right alongside the animation and colors of this show for all these moments.. the change in tone at 3:37 has this dissonant, almost mechanical blindness to it, like its trying to zero in on Jack's location.. it's super fuckin' cool~

Samurai jack was the hardest samurai to walk the earth
Finds the answer meditating under a waterfall.
Either they really suck or Jack is really that good!
The first part of the episode shows them decimating an entire mechanical army. Only their leader, who hung back, survives the slaughter. This is how Jack learns of them and the magic wishing well that they guard. Jack attempts to enter the clearing but is quickly pinned by their arrows and narrowly escapes with his life. That leads into him reminiscing on his past training to figure out what to do, and the rest you can see in this video.
They destroyed an entire robot army at the start of the episode. Definitely not their fault.

It wasn't until Gennedy featured the entire final season on Adult Swim. I guess along with that the rights of the show were now transferred from CN to Adult Swim but that is just a guess.
Genndy is the George RR Martin of animation.
