  • @ykd3529
    @ykd3529 2 дня назад +12

    So what does "hold" exactly mean in this context? Does it just mean waiting a split second longer before hitting the shuttle?

    • @getgoodatbadminton8406
      @getgoodatbadminton8406  2 дня назад +5

      Yup

    • @virtualjack9927
      @virtualjack9927 День назад

      Yea it just make your shot less predictable as you have more option to change the pace (hit it sooner for faster pace or delay shot to slow down pace) and make your shot option less obvious and predictable (if you flick or touch or drive, hitting at last second means your opponent won't see your setup well and use it to predict your shot)

    do you think this method will good implementing at doubles?

    • @heyitsskie
      @heyitsskie День назад

      Slightly less effective because doubles is much more reliant on pace and speed of rallies. It can still be used here and there for deception just don’t do it as much because players can catch you as 2 players cover more court and cover the court faster than just 1 player. Also holds into a lift are less effective because in doubles a player is already standing at the back waiting for your lift. In singles they can’t just wait at the back because then they cannot cover the front

      Hi , satwik 's smashes might be stronger than others because his technique. I don't think making that video would help most of the people since most of us are already told about the technique but yet their way of holding grip timing itself makes the difference for most the part.
