Delivery missions like Arms Dealing become a lot easier once you park a vehicle at one of the delivery points, run back, accept the mission, and then just teleport to the vehicle. Saves a good chunk of time by not needing to drive to the first delivery point.
ElBlocko and when you finish arms dealing, instead of driving to overlook, you can just fast travel there using the fast travel station near the bridge.
That's...actually pretty clever. A similar thing I do: If I have to fast travel somewhere for a quest, I just exit the game and re-enter it, it usually spawns me in at a fast travel station or at least a map exit.
Rinus Luijk yes. and pro tip, when stacking anarchy or critical ascension, if you are trapped by mob enemies and need to down yourself to escape, but dont wanna lose your stacks, jump off a cliff. you'll respawn with your stacks intact.
Nice trick. I just grab the arm next to the stalker den first and the arm in Overlook last. It saves time and anxiety because those stalkers are the biggest pain in that whole quest. The timer won't start until you grab your first arm so you can freely pick which one you grab first and I get to kill them all before starting the quest as well as save the time that it would cost me just to travel there.

One of the quests I hate the most is the one during the Flame of the Firehawk side-story. The part where you have to take matchstick all the way back through the hoards of bandits in The Soaring Dragon. Then you have to either backtrack all the way back, or exit out and have all the enemies you killed just respawn waiting for you back at Frostburn Canyon. Which makes igniting those stupid firehawk effigies a bitch. Man, that quest is a boatload of A-yes!
Of course when the enemies aren't scaled to level the player, going through the The Soaring Dragon is a cakewalk. But on UVHM, where the enemies are scaled to level and are able to use slag, that calk-walk becomes a slog. I do it regardless because my main is Krieg and the Flame of the Firehawk is just too good a shield to pass up on him.
well yeah but you have to have your character skill tree based on what your doing and what your fighting with the type of weaponry you have so by doing this it makes it easy like a puzzle
The afterburner relic helps a lot with the race quests. Hiding in the blocked Varkid Ranch entrance tunnel can help with the Mighty Morphin' quest. Clearing enemies out ahead of time and positioning your vehicle near the first delivery and then teleporting to it with a catch-a-ride station in Overlook can help with Arms Dealing. At the end, use the Hyperion Bridge fast travel station to get back to Overlook.
Thank you for reminding me I have that. I did the teleport thing for Arms dealing so that was easy, but there's another one in Eridiam whatever I still need to do. Will be going in with that and finally using it.

Ian Sefranek I use Maya and i kill him pretty quiclky with a corossive CC and bone of the ancient relic but even with 0 health he keeps spinning around the arena and take more than a minute to come in the middle and die.
I do not like the Opportunity main mission, in general I just really hate the area, the worst one though is definitely the mission where you have to reach angel, there are so many fucking enemies it's ridiculous, especially the part where you have to get up the flights of stairs while a badass constructor utterly fucks your shit up.
but i love grandma flexington quest, she reminds me of an old lady i use to know called sally (or was it sandra) anyway she use to talk about crazy old stories about when she was a little girls. The sweets that had REAL sugar in, not like today's sweets that have all that fake sugar that could never taste as good as the original. Dentists have really put there foot down when it comes to sugar in food but why was that even a problem? it came down to good parenting, if you made sure your kids knew that they would lose there teeth if they ate too much and if they did, well they learned there lesson the hardway don't thay. What was i talking about again? owww yea the old lady sandra or at least i think it was? Hey you were listening wern't you!? did i originally called her sandra? press X for sandra press Y for sally
Just wana say these videos help me out a lot and have helped me decide what to do and what not to do so thank you for making these they are very helpful.
“Hey, you know that main story mission where you had to protect the moon shot beacon from being damaged and it gets frustrating having to reset it every time? *Let’s make a sidequest in Sawtooth fucking Cauldron where you get to do that THREE TIMES.* “ I do it every time since I like doing all the side quests, but it feels like more of a punishment than anything.
I got a better SMG from killing this one guy in that mission, right next to where you finally pick up the SMG. I ended up using it for like, 8 more levels than i originally wanted, but I couldn't find any good ones so.
The trick to all three of the Arms Dealing/Rain Nor Sleet Nor Skags/Customer Service delivery missions, is to visit all the places FIRST. Clear out all the bad guys FIRST. In ALL THE AREAS. And at no time come near or touch any of the actual delivery mailboxes. Until you are done KILLING EVERYONE. Then go back to your first location and start the collection or deliveries from place to place to place, and you have plenty of time to make all five objectives before the timer runs out.
Still a pain in the ass to pull off on the PC version because of how the driving controls work, which from my experience often results in one's vehicle spinning out for seemingly no reason whatsoever after hitting even a tiny bump. Unless your driving is FLAWLESS, you're better off just using a save editor to skip that POS if you can't get some friends together (playing it SOLO is what makes it a pain in the ass).
Ahh, yes, that I agree with. The territory surrounding Customer Service and Arms dealing is indeed rough as hell and will mess you up -- even driving on the road back to Overlook will bounce you like crazy for no reason! Still, at least Customer Service gives you extra time to the deadline for every stage of the objective completed.
I find Statuesque to be so easy, but that mite be from a glitch of enemies don't spawn if you are not near the overseer. And the arms dealer leavening a vehicle at the second mail box and teleporting to it with the catch a ride helps a lot. I will usually leave a car while near there for the overlook medicine man mission.
It's more of an oversight than a glitch. The Overseer is on a timed script while enemies spawn in a rather limited area around the player. A fix to the problem would be forcing the player to clear enemies before the Overseer moves to the next zone. In fact, various other quests have this behavior, Claptrap not moving unless all enemies are dead in the very beginning being an obvious example. Another part of the game this behavior effects is Mordecai's sniping. After a period of inactivity, he'll suddenly start firing like crazy because he won't shoot at the unspawned enemies you haven't come across yet.
found your channel a few days ago after i started playing bl2 again. great content so i can entertain myself with your backlog while we wait for BL3 to drop. Already looking forward to your BL3 videos. thanks
For the delivery quests, use the teleport to vehicle trick. Park vehicles next to the mailbox. It’s a pretty handy cheese. But yea, escort, defend, and timed missions are always ass.
Death race is easily worse than faster that the speed of love. Mainly because there are 3 tiers, the first 2 are simple and can easily come down to the wire. The third takes hours of figuring out to realize you need to follow a different path and need an afterburner relic to even be able to complete the quest with nearly no time left
I think that Arms Dealing should get it's own spot above either Rain Nor Sleet Nor Skags or Customer Service. The latter two are easy to do, especially if you wipe out the bandits beforehand, but Arms Dealing has such a tight timeline that it requires intensive route planning to even have a small chance at completing it.
For the death race, me and my friend both had the afterburner equipped and we set ourselves at certain points in the race kind of like a hand off sort of thing, once I cleared a checkpoint, he would go and immediately complete the next checkpoint then do the rest of the race while I backtracked to the last checkpoint so once he cleared the one before that I could take it and boost to the finish line so we could beat it on time and farm it for tokens.
Honestly i don't understand when you say "the only reason you would do this quest" maybe it's just because I enjoy doing sidequests just for the sake of doing sidequests.
Grandma flexingtons story is actually kind of enjoyable, its a funny story thats entertaining enough to sit through. The first time. BL2Fix is python mod that add a hotkey (z) to cancel out any current dialog being played which the game handles by just moving along as if you let all of it play. Its great for the billion and one conversations we've all got branded on our frontal lobes after dozens of play through's. She wont ask any questions if you skip her story as having her dialog canceled out trips the end trigger, which is being able to turn it in.
Worst side quest? Tier 3 Battle: The Death Race! God, I fucking hate that quest. You can only make it when you own a level 50 the Afterburner (if you are dumb enough you did the quest in advance and you have a slow ass The Afterburner Relic) and the timer for Tier 3 is god awful merciless. The controls for the car are AAAAAAAAAASSSSSSSS so if you spin one time you lose seconds. I have finished the race several times. (Using car teleportation so I had 5 or 6 seconds to spare....)
Mighty Morphin is hard af, but those mutant varkids give so much xp. I just never complete the quest and use the varkids to get easy xp if I need a level or two before tackling an upcoming area.
I would say that in terms of a gameplay perspective, Bright Light is one of the worst quests in the game, simply because of the massive amount of enemies you have to fight through on foot, then go through a mini boss fight that isn't particularly easy, and have a whole damn defence mission with a ton of enemies in the end just so you can go back to sanctuary, while this is not that hard, it's the fact that it really wears down on your patience is what makes it annoying
Actually, the orc at the end of critical fail CAN drop the bone shredder. I had it drop for me as well. Wish i had video footage to prove it. Hes not a random orc, hes a specific named orc, so he prob has the bone shredder in his loot pool.
The elephant gun was actually my favorite of the entire DLC. Mathematically speaking, it's crap, no doubt. But it feels great to use, especially on a difficulty where you can still use it to ironsight headshot big enemies. Having no scope only makes the big game hunter vibe more authentic. Also, you can get a much more efficient route for the quest "arms dealing" by parking your vehicle at a far away mailbox beforehand and using the catch-a-ride to teleport to it right after starting the quest.
One thing not mentioned with the Medicine mission with the E-tech gun is that Maya's corrosive cloud will prevent the player from killing bandits with the rifle since the cloud does much more damage than the rifle. One may have to kill hundreds of bandits just to complete the quest.
To Arms! from the Pre Sequel is pretty noteworthy too. Collect 50 common weapons. Not only will your inventory constantly be stuffed with garbage, but every 10 weapons you turn in, you've got to do some dumb task. Then, when you're all done, you don't get some amazing reveal. The old dude giving you the quest builds it up to seem like you're helping his small group stage a revolution. In reality, they're just making a giant metal flower out of all the guns you toiled to get. It's not totally terrible, though. You do get a legendary Oz kit for your trouble.
I like grandma Flexingtons story. The first time. Its tedious when you have to do it again. But otherwise its an interesting story. Giving us some cool backstory on Mister Torgue and some entertaining bits. But its only fun the first time
WHY THE HELL!!? Did you put Grandma Torgue on this list? That woman is a delight to listen too and I absolutely love her. Of course if the only thing you care about is getting best loot as fast as possible this quest will be terrible but still she was the crown of that DLC and putting her here is a travesty.
With Medical Mystery quest, I had a different kind of issue. Once I killed every psycho in that area, no more enemies spawned. Even if I left the area and came back, no more enemies. I was lucky to complete it by the fact that even enemies outside of the arena counted.
I honestly think that grandma flexingtons question is probably the hardest quest because this quest tests your patience while listening to her story if not then you must start all over again. Me and my friend failed like 5 times listening the story because the story was really long that me and my friend eventually killed each other because you literally have to listen which is our weakness cuz we suck at listening.
That quest from the very start, where you have to kill Bullymongs with a melee attack to get Hammerlock and tuft of hair in his hat, or Claptrap a mustache, is the bane of my existence on any character that isn't specced into melee. At least once you reach UVHM.
I finished the eggs mission today and I realized that there are more eggs on the map than the ones you need, it was not hard to get enough of them. Also, the one about walking the dog is easy if you use the barrel car.

Ian Sefranek i don't know, BNK3R take some times to come in the middle and die.
Yagami Raïto That's why I recommend having a Zer0 im the game (with bore). With bore, Zero can one shot BNK3R. Takes less than a minute to kill BNK3R and he drops at least 24,000 experience per kill, plus a chance at the Sham or Bitch.
Ian Sefranek I use Maya and i kill him pretty quiclky with a corossive CC and bone of the ancient relic but even with 0 health he keeps spinning around the arena and take more than a minute to come in the middle and die.
For me he does the last phase really fast.
"I Like My Monsters Rare" basically sums up every Korean MMO ever
I do not like the Opportunity main mission, in general I just really hate the area, the worst one though is definitely the mission where you have to reach angel, there are so many fucking enemies it's ridiculous, especially the part where you have to get up the flights of stairs while a badass constructor utterly fucks your shit up.
yeah.... if you dont have a good rocket launcher or sniper by that point, prepare to die. ALOT.
Don't like the area either
Oppurtunity is definitely the worst area in Borderlands 2, except maybe for Eridium Blight, as when first visited the enemies are very tough.
George Simmons For me it is opportunity, saw tooth cauldron and Arid Nexus bone yard I see a lot of launcher enemies there
MrSurprise 22 saw tooth couldron's enemies aren't that tough for me, but I hate the area because it's so hard finding your way around it
but i love grandma flexington quest, she reminds me of an old lady i use to know called sally (or was it sandra) anyway she use to talk about crazy old stories about when she was a little girls. I remember her telling me how, in the old days, that they use to have real sweets.
Hey you were listening wern't you!? did i originally called her sandra?
press X for sandra
press Y for sally

Aww fuck! I should have been listening! -.-
7:36 That sounded like something Krieg would say! "Suffer trough the PAIN!"
Or any psycho really...
Thanks for the list, man. I love doing Borderlands Sidequests, but now I know what to avoid to save myself from unnecessary frustration.
You can easily do that Statuesque quest. Just activate Overseer, go far away (maybe left-up on the map) and wait till he finished.
Just wana say these videos help me out a lot and have helped me decide what to do and what not to do so thank you for making these they are very helpful.
Capture the mother fucking flags is the worst mission in the worst area, must be at least top 5
Alex McIntosh no, it must be number one!
“Hey, you know that main story mission where you had to protect the moon shot beacon from being damaged and it gets frustrating having to reset it every time? *Let’s make a sidequest in Sawtooth fucking Cauldron where you get to do that THREE TIMES.* “
I do it every time since I like doing all the side quests, but it feels like more of a punishment than anything.
why I skipped it
Me: The last one doesn't seem so bad.
"You have to answer some questions on what she said"
Me: WHAT!?
top 10 borderlands best lines of dialogue
every line is best line
Michael YingYang EXPLOSIONS?!
*N I P P L E S A L A D S ! ! ! ! !*
basically everything that krieg says tbh
Michael YingYang .
I like the Critical fail just because I am a DnD fan (the reference is pretty hilarious)... but man its really hard
Grandma's story was pretty funny in a trolly way tho. I remember i went to my kitchen and cut some oranges before starting the quest
found your channel a few days ago after i started playing bl2 again. great content so i can entertain myself with your backlog while we wait for BL3 to drop. Already looking forward to your BL3 videos. thanks
gyjdsss borderlands 3 dropped for Xbox one and PlayStation 4
For the delivery quests, use the teleport to vehicle trick. Park vehicles next to the mailbox. It’s a pretty handy cheese.
But yea, escort, defend, and timed missions are always ass.
Someone saw the statuesque quest and said, “i want this to last 15 hours” and boom, bl3 was born
Ironically, I'm watching this while in a squad waiting for grandma flexington to finish
I like the boom puppy, it's good against bosses like the giant robot t-rex in the torgue DLC
Grandmas story is one of my favorite quests in the whole game
Death race is easily worse than faster that the speed of love. Mainly because there are 3 tiers, the first 2 are simple and can easily come down to the wire. The third takes hours of figuring out to realize you need to follow a different path and need an afterburner relic to even be able to complete the quest with nearly no time left
Yes it fucking sucks ass. On tier 3 u basically have to teleport or u just lose
What a boat load of AYSSS!!!
A rip for the mission "Statuesque" Instead of following the Constructer run the opposite direction, enemies only spawn when you are nearby
*Tip
17:10 my favorite part as always
I would say that in terms of a gameplay perspective, Bright Light is one of the worst quests in the game, simply because of the massive amount of enemies you have to fight through on foot, then go through a mini boss fight that isn't particularly easy, and have a whole damn defence mission with a ton of enemies in the end just so you can go back to sanctuary, while this is not that hard, it's the fact that it really wears down on your patience is what makes it annoying
Talk about Critical Fail, I recently got a Bone Shredder world drop from that orc you kill in the end.
s4ul_undersc0re Bone shredder is a unique gun, you can't get it by world drop
s4ul_undersc0re do you mean the Skaggs?
s4ul_undersc0re slagga*
Actually, the orc at the end of critical fail CAN drop the bone shredder. I had it drop for me as well. Wish i had video footage to prove it. Hes not a random orc, hes a specific named orc, so he prob has the bone shredder in his loot pool.
asasassx xaxsaxa i thought it was a 100% drop. i got it all three playthroughs with my axton.
10:00 ok this is actually a 2017 morphin time this is fuckin awsome
The elephant gun was actually my favorite of the entire DLC. Mathematically speaking, it's crap, no doubt. But it feels great to use, especially on a difficulty where you can still use it to ironsight headshot big enemies. Having no scope only makes the big game hunter vibe more authentic.
Also, you can get a much more efficient route for the quest "arms dealing" by parking your vehicle at a far away mailbox beforehand and using the catch-a-ride to teleport to it right after starting the quest.
Grandma story quest is one of the best in the games , you take that back
I actually really like the elephant gun. I know it's not really good, but it's a lot of fun to use in a normal playthrough.
One thing that's great about walking the dog is the objective list. RUN FOR THE LOVE OF TORGUE RUN
Ah, Grandma Flexington's mission, fond Bahroo memories...
Richard Watson me too
imo "Bad Hair Day" is quite the pain on UVHM as a non melee character !
This one should have replaced Grandma Flexington!!!
@@ZatoichiBattousai ikr !
Grandma Flexington is basically a funny troll
Any time missions *Cough Cough* Arms Dealing *Cough Cough
One thing not mentioned with the Medicine mission with the E-tech gun is that Maya's corrosive cloud will prevent the player from killing bandits with the rifle since the cloud does much more damage than the rifle. One may have to kill hundreds of bandits just to complete the quest.
I actually like grandma flexingtons story quests. I find them fun to listen to
To Arms! from the Pre Sequel is pretty noteworthy too.
Where's my 10 Best Heads in each games!!!
Viktor Larsson What the fuck is your profile pic? Jaaaaysus! lol.
Viktor Larsson Like a human blobfish.
I really enjoyed Statuesque for the dialogue with Handsome Jack. Definitely some really funny lines from him.
Its Morbin Time
thank God you used that skipping stone analogy I would have never figured it out otherwise
The only thing about medical mystery is u can farm for the infinity pistol pretty easily
U questioning puma is a travesty. Grandma's story is fucking bull shit
With Medical Mystery quest, I had a different kind of issue. Once I killed every psycho in that area, no more enemies spawned. Even if I left the area and came back, no more enemies. I was lucky to complete it by the fact that even enemies outside of the arena counted.
"'Faster Than The Speed Of Love' is more frustrating than 'Death Race'."
What the fuck are you talking about?
I honestly think that grandma flexingtons question is probably the hardest quest because this quest tests your patience while listening to her story if not then you must start all over again. Me and my friend failed like 5 times listening the story because the story was really long that me and my friend eventually killed each other because you literally have to listen which is our weakness cuz we suck at listening.
Poor Grandma Flexington.
The Magic Arena caused me intense emotional stress.
Just got done with the grandma flexington and I’m drained.
That quest from the very start, where you have to kill Bullymongs with a melee attack to get Hammerlock and tuft of hair in his hat, or Claptrap a mustache, is the bane of my existence on any character that isn't specced into melee. At least once you reach UVHM.
I like grandmas story
You r a weirdo
Slaggin' off the awesomeness that is The Crit? Uncool bro, uuuuuuuuncool.
Before I watch the video I'm guessing Grandma Torgue Story Time number one or critical fail
You were right!
Lol unfortunately i don't have that dlc so i don't listen :/
I finished the eggs mission today and I realized that there are more eggs on the map than the ones you need, it was not hard to get enough of them.
Also, the one about walking the dog is easy if you use the barrel car.
Top 10 Walls
The Michael Top 10 vending machines
The Michael I think Watch Mojo did that already.
Tier Battle: The Death Race and Faster than the speed of Love are a bit easier with the Afterburner relic
