Hey guys, back with another Borderlands 2 Countdown video and today I will be going over 10 of what I think are the Most Fun or Coolest Guns and Weapons to Shoot or Use in Borderlands 2! These 10 are some of my favorite guns in the entire game!

I love the infinity pistol on Zero because of how much you can boost it. The sheriff's badge, bee shield & shadow stalker class mod add some serious firepower. And Velocity, Rising shot, One shot one kill all add fire power as well.

You can tank terramorphous enrage with salvador and the Unkempt harold + Grog nozzle combo. Salvador is broken period but that combo on him is probably the closest thing to a win button possible in the game.
Except for the actual win button cheat code lol
I think the Butcher might also be a good fit for Gaige, thanks to her Accuracy reduction abilities and the ability that add a rebound to shots that hit other objects.
The rapier assault rifle is an incredibly fun weapon to use as Zer0

I accidentally performed the Morningstar glitch on Maya without even knowing that it was a thing. The voice lines looping was so obnoxious that I had to quit out of the game to get it to stop. Then I kept accidentally performing the glitch so I stopped using the weapon.
this happened to me on my first playthrough, as well. my buddy's roommate insisted I stop using it (we were playing splitscreen). but I kind of feel like I subconsciously knew something good was happening, because even if you don't notice the numbers, you notice that everything dies in two hits

It is a good gun but not always fun for me to use because I kill myself with it more than most self harm guns
he put the flakker on there and they are very similar guns, it comes down to personal preference but i think the flakker is better

The thunderball fist has always been one of my favorite guns, put that on a catalyst gaige or a shock gaige and you can really deal some damage due to her intersped outburst skill

Hey Puma! Thanks for keeping up the Borderlands videos. I still play all the Borderlands games frequently because they're so much fun. No matter how much I've played.
I like the first pistol you get from the cabinet when claptrap losses his eye it's the best gun ever and is better than some pearlessents
Isaiah Shelton I actually do love that gun. Come to think of it, I think that Dahl weapons are my favorite to use. (I JUST realized there are no Dahl Shotguns!)

400 anarchy + conference call = shield of bullets.
I normally use an Unkempt Harold. At point blank range it's a frightening weapon no matter who you are using it with, as it seems that it adds the damage of every split bullet if it hits a target before the shots split, so you end up with a massive amount of damage. As for the Infinity, I get the hate for it, but it's still useful. I keep it on me for those rare moments when i'm nearly empty of ammunition, particularly in fights with raid bosses on Ultimate VH mode. It really sucks to run out of ammunition, so when i'm low on ammo, I switch to it and use it until I can get more ammunition. It's a good thing to have as a backup for those moments.
fun tip: I've found that shock versions of the kitten are great for anarchy gaige!

I find the florentine to be more useful in general since it allows her to shred through most anything that's not armored, the problem is ammo and kind of needs help with a class mod.

I don’t know why the infinity gets so much flak. It’s one of the most badass pistols to ever badass. And most of the time pistols aren’t that badass.
I mean, it’s got infinite ammo, no reload, always randomly elemental, high rate of fire and low recoil with moderate accuracy.
And with RoF cap, it’s pretty much a tiny minigun. I went through the whole campaign to unlock ultimate vault hunter mode just to get it, then went back to regular mode and beat nearly all the dlc with just that pistol (except for the fight for sanctuary dlc because of it’s high level system where you have to be nearly at regular level cap to play (like a level 39 to 40 to begin) and i got it when it was at a level 36 and lost use of it.
But nontheless, it’s actually a really good pistol if you like high RoF and being moderately close to your enemies.
From best to worst, corrosive version is my favorite. Best against loader bots and vehicles, as well as armored enemies, but can still be pretty effective on regular or shielded enemies, if you don’t mind continuously blasting your enemy with never-ending bullet barrage of elemental mayhem.
Fire is the second best, as it’s elemental damage can be useful against bosses and mini-bosses, as long as they aren’t armored or have large shields on.
It’s pretty much the same as corrosive, but with more damage to unshielded enemies and not as powerful against armored enemies. The spray and slay method also works with this, but it seems more useful to do it to destroy the enemies shield and weaken to the point where the fire damage will finish him off while you deal with another enemy.
(Please note: i’ve actually never seen an electric or slag varient of this and versions may possibly not exist, but i’ll list them anyways in case someone gets upset that their favorite element it’s in this)
Electric is pretty much next to last, mainly because it’s more useful to remove shields and that’s pretty much it. I suppose it’s useful to take out the extremely high shields , but outside of that, your guess is as good as mine.
Why? Why would you need this as a slag weapon? It’s purpose is laying down infinitely supressed fire, so it would make more sense to have a weapon that slags an enemy and then use the infinity on them to get the most out of it, but it just doesn’t seem to workthe other way around.
I’d be pretty PO’d if i got a slagged infinity from the drop.
I’m pretty much rambling at this point, but if you ever found this weapon, you know what’ll be best to use, at least in my opinion.
I just wish that your weapons would level up with you, so it would get increased stats whenever you leveled up. I would use that gun so much if that were possible.

Idk, I am a major Jakobs fanboy, and I only have the base game, so some of my favourites are the Bison and Law. Maxing Zero's red skill tree and stealth killing all of lynchwood while invisible with law is too much fun.
The bison easily makes up for not having a scope by having an incredibly good barrel for lining up shots anyway. And that damage means that you're one shotting pretty much anything that moves, even if it's a badass 5 levels higher than you.
Maybe I just love Zero, but those are some of my personal favourites.

The infinity is my personal fun weapon to use with the bee.
Infinity is tied for my favorite gun to use,alongside the Storm,it may not be good,but the Storm looks cool and has a cool concept.
Edit:Also,try the Explosive Infinity mod,it does just what it sounds like,it gives you an explosive Infinity

I like the bolt actions more, actually. Every single sniper is semi-auto and automatic, the bolt-action are a little different and more fun to use.

I found a level... Like 15? Infinity and stuffed it in Claptrap's lockbox... until I played Gaige. Infinite ammo + Health regeneration+ Deathtrap breaking shields = One very happy gamer. I used it up until about level 25, when I found a nice Vladof pistol-carbine.

Puma, I do enjoy you're vids, so this is coming from a fan not a hater, but holy shit you need to clean up your titles, this one was a fucking mess that makes it seem like you barely understand english, a better title in this case would be "The top 10 most fun or cool guns to use in Borderlands 2"

Personally I would've added the Swordsplosion to the list, particularly the Casual Swordsplosion for three times the exploding swords and three times the explosive carnage. It's easily one of the best crowd control weapons in Borderlands 2 and is absolutely MONSTROUS on a Mania-speced Krieg thanks to the boosts to both explosive and shotgun damage.
Speaking of Mania-build Krieg, two other weapons that I found were really nice to use on him were the Orphan Maker and Rapier, the former benefitting from the same shotgun-boosting skills that the Swordsplosion does while the hit point damage from firing helps to recharge his action skill faster, while the Rapier can grant massive boosts to melee damage when not in a buzzaxe rampage (whereas most bayonetted guns will actually reduce Krieg's melee damage output due to his melee damage output from his skills being so ludicrously high that it seems to create a glitch with the typical 50% boost to melee damage).

I enjoy getting bandit assault rifles that have the belt. While it is not practical, loading that belt, is just so satisfying.

My personal favorites are the Slagga and the Kerblaster. Double Anarchy with Lilith's SMG class mod providing over 50% SMG damage was most powerful thing I've seen in Borderlands. In 2, having that massive magazine shoot three projectiles while consuming one bullet is just like that. Combined with Gaige's Anarchy and Close Enough is an even deadlier combo. And the Kerblaster's sniper-like damage combined with how early it can farmed for makes a my go-to weapon for my starting characters. I have both a lvl 8 and lvl 18 Kerblaster to give my newer characters.

I think that sal makes good use of the fast ball since he has the perk of the double grenade. It is super op on raid bosses.

We dont forget how cool the guns are. We progress to a point in the game where only 4 guns have enough power to kill something. Most guns at end game just arent viable unless you want to do a challenge run and feel like shooting the most basic enemy for 2 hours just to kill it.

Infinity with Mechromancer is fun. Mech has an ability to heal when you have a full clip. Until enemies would 1 shot me, I was unkillable

As impractical and inefficient as they might be, I will always have a soft spot for Vladof Blaster E-Tech assault rifles, especially incendiary ones. Sure, they're not optimal, but it's a lot of fun to fire them, the ricocheting shots can sometimes do some ridiculous things, and if you're really in the mood for E-Tech then they're probably your best option for E-Tech assault rifles. The sheer volume of fire usually means you'll get an elemental proc in one or two bursts, and the reload isn't as painfully glacial as the Bandit BlASSters.

I personally die a little on the inside every time I see one, but to each their own and all that
+Soppe23 That's fine; I personally prefer the blue and green Vladof skins to the purple one on standard guns, but given the whole point of E-Tech is to bring 'pewpewlaser' silliness to the table, I don't begrudge it as much as I would on something that fires a more practical projectile..
I myself like the Bandit E tech assault rifle; it maybe impractical, but I just found it fun firing non stop for 15 seconds, then to do a pretty cool reload animation. I also like the sound of the E tech gun firing.
I love you VPG, and I respect most of your opinions, however, I reallly wish you'd stop using the Grog Nozzle. It's a quest specific weapon, and you using it all the time is like cheating, and it annoys me to no end when you compare other characters damaged to a "Grog Nozzle Unkempt Harold Salvador". Everyone knows that's a broken build. Try doing something else. Watching you beat Terramorphus with a Grog Harold just makes me dissapointed. Try using legit guns.

You are ashamed to watch VPG because of a build he uses in Borderlands 2? Kind of pathetic.
I honestly don't care about what healing item he uses. While builds that focus on not using the Grog are generally more fun and all, it certainly does speed things up and enables more hyper aggressive playstyles. For the purpose of these weapon demonstrations, I'd say that using the Grog to heal and slag to show the weapon's full capability is perfectly acceptable. Makes it easier to work around various weapons' downsides.

honestly though the drunk effect from grog nozzle + norfleet is a hell of a lot of fun
For me, a really fun weapon is the 12 Pounder launcher. While it has a TINY magazine of at most, 3, it has great damage and a surprisingly fast reload for a Torgue gun. It's really satisfying to slag something and then blast their limbs off with a single cannonball. Not only that, but like the Kaneda's Laser, the 12 Pounder is capable of getting crits.
It's too bad that's he big sleep doesn't respawn, because this weapon is just a lot of fun and I wish you could farm for it
a property built Salvador with two deliverance shotguns. I've used this combo to effectively solo raids and clear large mobs
I like the Badaboom (Rocket Jumping), Tunguska, Hive, Storm, and Swordsplosion (screwing around with NPC's and even kill certain ones)
I love using the baby maker, paired with Kriegs bloodsplosion. It kills everything. My favorite gun though is the Bane.
My favorite weapons include (but aren't limited to):
The Fibber. Just look at the enemy's feet, fire, and then look up at their corpse.
The Lady Fist. The critical damage you get from this is a loader's worst nightmare. Especially when corrosive.
The Buffalo and the White Death/Lyuda. Both have very destructive crits, and both are very satisfying to use.
The Conference Call. Self-explanatory.
Miss Moxxi's Heart Breaker. Just charge in to Thousand Cuts wielding this, and watch the destruction that follows.

awe i was hoping to see the swordplosion on here. its an excellent shotgun and very unique
iv been getting really random legendary drops recently when I started a new play through with Maya, i got the baby maker from a burning psycho on captain flints ship, i got a slagga from a constructor bot in opportunity and I got a logans gun from midgemong which really suprised me.
Any vladof launcher is funny to use due to ability not to consume ammo, the bonus package is a fun grenade mod to see a group of enemies fall to.
I actually like the flynt's tinderbox I find it a good and well damaging weapon.
My two favorite guns are actually from Pre-Sequel: Blowfly and Torrent. Both for isnsane burst.

The Diaub is phenominal for CA if you like the Jakob-style firing mechanics, as the right combination of high RoF and recoil control makes it really easy to stack up and the high base damage (imho) offsets the lack of an elemental effect.
Love the ending, it was a good laugh. I'm surprised you didn't have the Chopper on this list.
Grog nozzle, the drunk effect is really fun to combo with other weapons such as the sand hawk, pimpernel, etc.
By far the teeth of teramorphous is the funnest gun for me! With axton it gets all the garanade boost and the blashdamage can do the passive weapon effect glitch with ahab!!!
My favorite combo is the Sand Hawk and Bee Shield because it can kill the Son of Crawmerax in Normal with 2-5 well placed ADS bursts

Mine is the Shock Action Fibber on Gaige as I do her shock build and I just obliterate enemies with shields or no shields. I just love watching the projectiles bounce off the floor and into the enemies. either killing them in one hit or just shocking them to death and watching them turn into nothing.
I actually love the Bunny...Its not all that powerful, but it's fun to let loose in a crowd of enemies...
I remember when I had the butcher. Someone gave it to me but as I didn't have UVHM 1 it was missing textures. Now seeing it here make me want to get all DLC right off the bat. How I miss it.

Shock Fastball on Zero utterly melts Pyro Pete's shield. I was over the moon when I discovered grenade throws don't break stealth.
You should do a top guns/grenades/shields/relic/oz kit for each character across all 3 games.
The kitten was pretty damn fun.I used a lady fist and a fire element Kitten and did the entire Dragonkeep dlc.(Except the handsome dragon that shit's tough)
Basiclly any E-Tech Vladalf Sniper/Assault Rifle are just fun with Bullets going everywhere
They may not be the best weapons, but my favorites are Jakobs guns with Jakobs parts, as well as Bandit assault rifles with the minigun Vladof barrel. They're just super fun to use!

Probably, Lyuda (Droog), Maggie and Orphan maker are the most satisfying guns for me to use.
With me I would replace the Fastball with the Chain lightning, mostly because it can hop from target to target, and murder a ton of targets at once while still instantly hitting the enemy with the grenade.

i just love using zero and pistols like the diamond synergy pistols with the double shot feature or gage with norfleet and striker

i know this countdown was for BL2 but i have to say the Flayer from TPS is my favorite gun through all 3 games so far.
*I don’t have seizures but watching Kreig shields constantly shoot fire makes me wanna have one though*
I got my first unkempt Harold as a penetrating and from a random enemies in the wildlife preserve
I once picked up a smg (I think) that had a VHS iron sight. It was cool af! But unfortunately, I had to drop it 'cause it was a lower level weapon. Now, looking back, I wish I'd kept it :(
