    Hi Dan,
    Just info.
The hose can stay on, just undo it from the box. The cover then can wiggle free to your right side towards you. Just fits through. Saves a lot of messing around with coolant…
I did the same actually today on my 360. belt service…yeah…😬

The 360 is sweet. I drove one a few years back... and I am in lust.. so sexy. I wish it had been a manual... still, felt like a 4 wheel Superbike. That 8500 RPM red line is intoxicating.

Before I type this, I do want you to know that I’m not telling you what to do. I don’t want it to come across that way. You already know what you are doing and therefore own a successful business. We both have nothing to prove. Ok. With that said, some things. You’ve got a helluva nice garage and tools. Buy the HE flywheel lock tool to use from now on. You know that won’t be your last 360 timing belt change. 😉 Also, you should try and check the actual timing of each cam and adjust it to spec with the new belt. The exhaust cams can easily be checked with your reader after it is back together. Better to do it before with dial gauges. The intake cams are harder and you can only check them with dial gauges. You’d be amazed how off they can become after 20 years of just lock and swaps at even Ferrari dealerships. Get this….all 4 of mine were in the far ends of spec and the exhaust cams were 3° off bank to bank. Should 0°. My intake cams were 4° off bank to bank. Freaking crazy! Anyways, good job with the transformation.

Is there any good way to inspect the heat exchanger w/o removing the intake? The aged ones are going to fail and mix coolant/oil which of course as you know will grenade the gearbox, not sure what the current state of tech / or way to be proactive about the heat exchanger outside proactively swapping it

    • @normalguysupercar
