I owned a 2003 ferrari 360 modena then a 2009 F430 both coupes cars are extremely reliable i used them every single day the only problem i had with the E Diff solenoid in the f430 the rest of the ownership where flawless ! Oil change and filters
Great video thank you! Given the age, pedigree and purchase price of the car in today's market - I have found the costs are reasonable to keep it on the road and running well. The issues you outlined in the video are certainly some I have encountered in my ownership and quite common. The CS grill is almost necessary in hot climates to improve engine cooling. The body styling and shape has held up incredible well and still turns heads with my only major complaint being the quality of the headlights which are quite expensive to replace and prone to dulling/fogging/yellowing at this current age. It's not "fast" by todays standards on a 0-60 time, but the engine notes and raw thrill of the NA V8 at high RPM combined with how low and planted the car is to the road remains one of the most enjoyable 20-30 year old vintage car experiences out there IMO - especially for the entry cost to purchase the vehicle now.
Great video..Basically you covered everything my local independent mechanic warned me about.Especially the manifolds which crack.I’m about to buy one and the repair costs are eye watering.
High quality content well delivered 👍👍👍. I had 360 Modena back in 2000. It had the F1 gearbox which TBH was all new and trendy back then, but not ideal for parking as it was very binary… so bollards and gravel driveways were either a hazard or embarrassing particularly in pubs 😵💫
Evening mate I don’t know if you will remember me , I use to stay in Cumbernauld village care home I’ve watched you go from car to car over the years I loved cars my full life me and my twin I remember we use to here you coming up the hill in the green rs and we would sprint out 🤣🤣 then if I remember correctly you went to the Porsche jeep for like a week then you had my dream car the r35 you would have always seen me and my twin on scooters or something then you went and got the r8 then you got one of these , I remember asking you one day about how you got these cars and you told me about the multi tool thing or something, anyways hope your well grant mate .
The list of expensive ‘service replacement’ items from as little as a few thousand miles is proof positive that it was made in Italy. There are far better products without these ownership headaches. If engineering quality, beauty and brand are important then an Aston Martin for a similar budget beats it hands down, and you can choose either a v8 or the mighty v12.
Aston Martin can destroy your wealth too. With all HP cars, many people have owned them for less than a year, and either get bankrupted if they bought badly, or literally get through without a scratch. If you're long term, expect some serious service bills with all fast cars.
Man I gotta save this for the next time I buy an impulse Ferrari 360. Just last week I went to get some milk and came home with a F40, where was your buying vid on that?
Did you just make this video for the Facebook group post that I just came from? 😅 What's funny is that those must-haves that you mentioned - I am not bothered with any of them. I guess I'm a cheap date! I do like the practicality of the challenge grill but not keen on the look compared to the standard non-grill.
40,989 miles on mine, and never been in the shop in the 3 years I’ve owned it. Nothing that’s left me stranded, and nothing I haven’t been able to do in my own garage by myself.

Challenge grill is a definite must if I could ever afford a Ferrari 😂

As mental as it sounds. It has to be red on a 360

Great video - you have a really nicely specced 360
Beautiful car and an excellent video😊

Agreed … But, the only problem with that (Aston Martin) is, it is not a Ferrari. It doesn’t look, sound, feel or drive like a Ferrari!

Great video, real shame there's no advice on costs for these issues, difficult to make any decisions without an idea of costs.

What about the 360 spider - any issues that may be of note?......🤔
The main issue here is finding competent mechanics! It will be very hard!
Did you just make this video for the Facebook group post that I just came from? 😅

Lovely Jubbly, lucky Scottie.
My cousin had a issue with his 360 f1 gearbox. The actuator failed it cost a fortune to fix but its a ferrari so you expect big bills
That’ll be an f1 ‘box ☹️
Lovely car but those wheels look tiny on the rear
My 360 Ferrari had a $12,000.00 service and then exploded and incinerated whilst it was being delivered back to me. I now drive Porsches.
PORSCHE 😎😎😎GT3RS LIFE 👊🏾👊🏾👊🏾💯
Lots of clocked examples around.
Haha, dickery docked, as they say in the London motor trade, usually in relation to Jap imports.
How many people do you think are going to buy one?
Maybe quite a few as they are less than the ridiculous prices classic fords and jap cars are now going for.
🤣🤣🤣 just what your channel's demographic needs, a Ferrari buyers guide 😅😅😅
Buy a Jaguar or an Aston Martin and you will have no problem.
Absolute garbage 🗑
So you've not driven one then I take it😊
@christhompson9420 wouldn't waste my time with something that was always in the shop
