This is a good workaround albeit a bit complicated for many basic users. Native Instruments should have simply added the option to assign key switches to each of the articulations in the pull down menu. boom..problem solved... but unfortunately they did not. They figured this out for Sessions Horns Pro which frankly is a much better option in 2022. Thanks for the usable workaround!
I have a big problem whenever I bounce the midi track into an audio track it loses a percentage of the articulations I don't know why, even when I try to print the midi just goes stupid and repeats the bouncing articulations. Can anyone help me?
This means you cannot play with the right hand while you use keyswitches in real time with the left. I know of no other company that requires multiple MIDI channels - which is an extra step every time you change articulations. Does anyone know if this is even possible in Digital Performer? There it seems you would need to split the melody into dozens of tracks, each with a random small group of notes for each articulation! This is the way we use to have to do it back at the dawn of virtual instruments, at the turn of the century! Please make all articulations available in the instrument, each with its own keyswitch or CC# - like EWQLSO, Cinematic Studio Strings, CInematic Winds, Olafur Strings, SPitfire instruments generally!
@@Vlademon2409 Thanks, I didn't want to assume. Session Horns can be purchased at e-instruments.com/instruments/horns/session-horns/ It's a Kontakt instrument, so can be downloaded and installed via Native Access: www.native-instruments.com/en/specials/native-access-2/

Great tutorial! Easy, clear and we won nice, natural horns. I found this way in Samplitude. Thanks!!!
Is a way to do this in Cubase ?
It's a Kontakt library and requires either Kontakt Player or the paid version of Kontakt.
Kontakt is the VST and will work in any DAW.
Thanks for the tutorial. How to do it in Pro tools 2020 ? thank you for your answer.
I have the same question
@@nicknash2008 They never gave me an answer on how to do it in pro tools
This is still session horns? Not pro version? It sounds too good!
WOw, exactly what i'was looking for . Thanx so much

Still helpful, Thank you.
Can you demonstrate this in Pro Tools also?
Hi , how do i change articulation in ableton?
But this can't be done in Propellerhead Reason because there is no facility to change the midi channels of notes on the the same track.
was wondering the same..🤔
Nor in Digital Performer, AFAIK. It is an unecessary and old-fashioned way of doing things.
Yes but not everyone has Reason though.
Thanks for your video! Is it possible to have a forte piano extend longer than 4 beat? I have a chord that is 6 beats long. Thanks
how to do it in ableton or fl studio Thanks
sup man, in f lstudi u can use the colors, just follow the video when changing midi
Please make Session Horns 2 but with 2 french Horns added, and better to match Session Strings 2
Very nice.. Is there a way of doing this in Ableton?

You can use the same method with Session Horns
