- Beauties! I am sssoooo excited to share my 2 YEAR HAIR JOURNEY with you! I am oh so happy to have my journey documented. It’s been a little rough but it’s been worth it so far. My confidence has gone up so high now that I LOVE THE HAIR GOD GAVE ME. Honeyyyy, I was not always like this. I hated my natural hair. I was embarrassed about my natural hair... but NO MORE.
Anyway, Beauties... I really hope this video ENCOURAGES you no matter the stage you’re at in your journey OR if you’re contemplating going natural.

Going natural was also one of the best decisions of my life. I used to perm my hair, then I started just perming my edges because I was always getting sew-ins with leave-out... it always felt like I had to do extra to appreciate, and LOVE my natural beauty. I was as strong as you to make the big chop; I decided to transition. I was natural for 5 year then decided to lock my hair - BEST DECISION EVER! My hair has experienced so much growth. Hey! I started my journey in October of 2019. However! I didn’t big chop, I transitioned for 15 months. The struggle was real on wash days, that line of demarcation ain’t no joke 😂. I just didn’t have the balls to big chop 🤦🏽♀️. Besides trying to manage this thick stuff 😂, I’m loving this natural journey.
Also, I thought it was pretty cool to find someone who started around the same time as I. YAYYYY!!! Good luck 💕

I shaved my completely hair bald, October 9 2019 and it is March 2022 .. 2 years 5 months . My hair goes past my collar bone but I just trimmed it so it could grow more. now it’s a little past my shoulders.

I dropped gems on this in a couple videos I have linked in the cards but along with protective styles (the main reason for retaining growth) & trims, I took hair skin & nails vitamins periodically, took vit C, multivitamins, drank plenty of water & used Main Choice & Dream Girls Hair Care System (Black Owned/Women Owned). I hope this answers your question!
