    Never blow dry dry hair. it causes breakage and fries the hair because the cuticles closed once dried. You get a more smoother and straight finish blow drying damp hair.

    I see a lot of pple who are either relaxed or heat training using olaplex in their routines… I think it’s helpful with maintaining the integrity of the hair as much as possible… or other bond builders ( I think that’s the term fr those products)

    You've come a long way💛..
    I did a silk press and my hair did revert back but it won't stop breaking off and it feels so dry, it even got dark. Does heat damage hair ALWAYS look bone straight or not always??... split ends are getting to me

    • @Gladiator_in_a_Suit
      @Gladiator_in_a_Suit 11 месяцев назад

      Hi there, heat damage doesn’t always make the hair appear straight, if the curls hang without product or water applied that’s a sign of damage it can also give you a wavy texture in some cases depending on the curl patten that you naturally have, but don’t cut your hair until you do a wash day with a protein treatment and then on your next wash day after that--use a NON-Protein formulated shampoo and conditioner that simply concentrates on moisture and proceed to style and protect the hair for a few weeks and continue this wash day routine (using protein and non protein) simultaneously once a month, until you see a positive change in the breakage reduction and moisture balance.
      However, if breakage has not slowed after 3 months you need to trim off the parts that’s causing the breakages, and analyze the products you are using before tossing one out--stop using one each time you wash or re-moisturize-in order to find the corporate of the drying effect at this point. Going further as your hair goes into recovery make sure you use non-SD alcohol (this is the same as rubbing alcohol) formulated products and make sure to keep your ends soft and moisturized as well as tucked away when putting in the protective style.😊

    Hey have u thought about trying the mini braid challenge for 3 to 6 months to challenge yourself to see how many inches your hair can grow . I am doing that and I have been wearing corn rows and my wig .. I don’t heat like that because it will cause a set back . I will once I get to my desire length but probably twice a year
