When BATMAN first came out in the movies, me and my dad went to go see it. On the drive home he said they should do a Batman meets Superman, referring to Chris Reeve as Superman. I initially thought the idea was lame... come to find out years later my dad was on to something, and the idea was not only his, but probably hundreds of thousands of fans of these characters.

Well batman 89 is set in the same universe as superman 78 so it could happen, hopefully they could also fit in the 90s flash and Wonder Woman 76 (Lynda carter version) but I could see WW 76 in batman 66 as well since WW series was set in two times periods S1 was set during the 2nd world war while later seasons were set in the 70s
There was a movie in the early 90s where both Micheal Keaton and Christopher Reeve appeared together. I can’t remember the title and it was WAY before Reeves accident. I remember thinking “holy cow, Batman and Superman!!”
Crazy how we have this "mandella effect" about Reeves and Keaton being contemporary, when they were 11 years apart...which is almost the same difference between Reeves (1978) and West (1966).
