I been watching your videos as I am going through a very rough time in my relationship with my gf shes a Protestant who is not open at all to other religions. I tried going to her church (baptist) and their service is soo different from the catholic I like it but I don't feel Jesus at all. The catholic mass is a bit dull but I feel god and jesus, something I cant explain to her. Ive prayed so much for a right decision. This Wednesday I have confession and sunday after 3 years without the Eucharist I will take it again Thanks to this channel.

There is no salvation outside the Church" comes from Letter LXXII of Cyprian of Carthage (who died in AD 258) and indeed that was true, there was no other Church but the Orthodox Church, that Christ and his apostles began at Pentecost. It was a terrible shame that Rome decided to split from Christ's Church formally, in AD 1054. Rome was the first 'Protestor' if you like, but it was not through corruptive practices as the Protestors of the Reformation declared, it was because the Bishop of Rome wanted to be more than first among equals. He wanted total control and ultimately to be declared supreme and infallible. As Pope Gregory 1st claimed "No one does more harm in the Church than he who has the title or rank of holiness and acts perversely". How prophetical was that comment, sadly. We pray and wish that the present Bishop of Rome will return you all to the one true Church, as explained in all the passages of Scripture that you shared. You seem very sincere Sean, so I would beg you and your family return to the Church that Christ and his apostles started

From a Protestant brother. “But because it is now our intention to discuss the visible church, let us learn even from the simple title of "mother" how useful, indeed how necessary, it is that we should know her. For there is no other way to enter into life unless this mother conceive us in her womb, give us birth, nourish us at her breast, and lastly, unless she keep us under her care and guidance, until, putting off mortal flesh, we become like the angels in heaven (Matt. 22:30). Our weakness does not allow us to be dismissed from her school until we have been pupils all our lives" - John Calvin, French Protestant theologian, 16th century
“Therefore, the church, as the bride of Christ, is the womb in which the infertile unbeliever encounters the gospel, is impregnated by the Holy Spirit by the preaching of the word. It is she who nurtures us, feeding us at her breasts with the pure milk of the gospel, later giving us the solid food of sound doctrine and discipleship. She guides us with her long wisdom, taught to her by the Holy Spirit from the Word of God, over long ages of her history--the very wisdom of God in Christ, to whom she submits. And her divine-human Bridegroom cares for her, leading her and loving her, teaching us through his Word and by His Spirit--in her church." - John Calvin, French Protestant Theologian, 16th century
“We believe, since this holy congregation (The Church) is an assembly of those who are saved, and that out of it there is no salvation, that no person of whatsoever state or condition he may be, ought to withdraw himself, to live in a separate state from it; but that all men are in duty bound to join and unite themselves with it.” - Guido De Bres, Belgian Protestant theologian, 16th century

Factually, the First Church was the One Holy Apostalic Catholic Orthodox Church consisting of one church in five regions. The five regions were Jerusalem, Antihoch, Constantinople, Alexandria, and Rome. Each church had one patriarch that oversaw the church fully recognizing that Jesus was the head of the church. During the great schism of 1054 Rome and the Patriarch of Rome went their separate ways bringing upon a new Church, the Roman Catholic Church.
So the word "Catholic" simply means universal in this context. Roman Catholic is distinct from Orthodox Catholic.
So I am a literalist, I take the words from the Bible and History for the literal truth that they are. I get criticized for it, but the way I look at it is this--truth is truth. Even if someone teaches you the sky is red doesn't make it red. It will always be blue.

That's not true, it was the so called "Orthodox" Churches that broke off from the Orthodoxy of the supremacy of the Successor of St Peter and rejected the unique position and power given to him by Jesus and again through Church Councils and Saints.

@@ultron3693No bishop in the early church ever had universal jurisdiction. The Pope was an important bishop being the bishop of Rome but the concept of a papal monarchy (like Vatican 1 idea of the papacy) was unheard of in the early church. Rome left the pentarchy. Read the Alexandria document and the Chieti document that Rome release which admits the Orthodox are correct.

So what you are saying is we are saved by faith plus membership in the Catholic church?!
Also if there are people saved without knowledge of Christ but as you say it sincerely seeking God, then what’s the point of doing evangelism? If indeed a person can be saved whether they knew Jesus or not.. it makes no difference

In the Old Covenant, the Temple was the dwelling place of the Holy Spirit and in order to be close to God you had to go to the Temple. Once the veil was torn and the room containing the Holy Spirit opened up and the Holy Spirit went out into the whole world because of the shed blood of Jesus Christ, the dwelling place of the Holy Spirit is no longer a building or temple, it is the body of those who receive the Holy Spirit by becoming Born Again. This is referenced in God's Word as 'The Body of Christ'. This is "The Church". For any person who is Born Again and has the Holy Spirit dwelling inside of them (just like the 1st and 2nd Temple), they are "The Church" and are Christ's representatives on earth. To continue to believe the church is a for profit business organization based out of Rome or any other place is to be in great error.
The Church may be called the Body of Christ because of these facts:
    1) Members of the Body of Christ are joined to Christ in salvation (Ephesians 4:15-16).
    2) Members of the Body of Christ follow Christ as their Head (Ephesians 1:22-23).
Christ is the head of the church, not a sinner (pope)!
    3) Members of the Body of Christ are the physical representation of Christ in this world. The Church is the organism through which Christ manifests His life to the world today.
    4) Members of the Body of Christ are indwelt by the Holy Spirit of Christ (Romans 8:9).
    5) Members of the Body of Christ possess a diversity of gifts suited to particular functions (1 Corinthians 12:4-31). “The body is a unit, though it is made up of many parts; and though all its parts are many, they form one body. So it is with Christ” (verse 12).
    6) Members of the Body of Christ share a common bond with all other Christians, regardless of background, race, or ministry. “There should be no division in the body, but . . . its parts should have equal concern for each other” (1 Corinthians 12:25).
    7) Members of the Body of Christ are secure in their salvation (John 10:28-30). For a Christian to lose his salvation, God would have to perform an “amputation” on the Body of Christ!
    8) Members of the Body of Christ partake of Christ’s death and resurrection (Colossians 2:12).
    9) Members of the Body of Christ share Christ’s inheritance (Romans 8:17).
    10) Members of the Body of Christ receive the gift of Christ’s righteousness (Romans 5:17).

      Hi Angel!
I understand that you are attempting to summarize, but "Being Catholic doesn't make you better." isn't quite true.
Just being a Catholic without practicing and striving towards salvation doesn't make you better than someone who isn't.
However, since without Christ there is no goodness, and without Him there is no grace and no salvation (through the sacraments of course), being Catholic does indeed make you better, because Christ indeed makes you better. We are obviously all sinners, but being part of the mystical body of Christ and being in a state of sanctifying grace does indeed make you "better". I wouldn't use this word, but I don't want people to think that they can be good on their own. Without baptism, and without the sacraments of Christ's Catholic Church, people will perish.
I think it's important to state that one cannot be good without following the Truth, which is Christ, and there is only one Church that has that Truth, and that's the Catholic church.

      Hi Fifi!
This teaching is dogmatic for all Catholics, meaning we are to believe under pain of mortal sin. There is no salvation outside the Catholic Church, or in the latin "Extra Ecclesiam Nulla Salus".
If it was true that anyone could be saved outside the Catholic church, and saved without believing in Christ, then there would be no point to the incarnation of Christ, and his sacrifice on the Cross. His sacrifice would be in vain. This cannot be so. Christ came to bring salvation, and as he Himself states, "No one comes to the Father except through Me". We as Catholics truly believe that Christ is THE WAY, THE TRUTH, AND THE LIFE. As Christ Himself says in Matthew 10:32: "Every one therefore that shall confess me before men, I will also confess him before my Father who is in heaven."
If anyone denies Christ, and they believe not in Him, they cannot be saved.
Since Vatican II, a lot of Catholics have been blinded by heresies, namely that Jews, Muslims, Pagans, etc. can all be saved, and that as Catholics we do not need to convert anyone. This is heretical, this goes against the Church's teachings for 1950 years, and the word of God, that without believing in Christ, one cannot be saved.
Long live Jesus Christ and His bride, the Holy Catholic Church!

When your dead, That’s It!!! If you believed in Jesus Christ before you died then you have nothing to fear. But if you didn’t then there are no more chances.
And purgatory is a man made story. NOT TRUE. It’s no where in the Bible.
All catholic saints were voted into this status by the Catholic Church. That doesn’t make them holy. That would be the same as praying to ba’al or molech.
Mary and these so-called saints are dead. You don’t pray to dead people.
Lastly. If your teaching this false doctrine, then you should know what the Bible says about that. And what will happen to you. It’s not good!
    REPENT!!! Before it’s too late!!!
Only pray to Father God thru Jesus Christ His only Son.
    repent while your still alive...
if you don’t then one day you will bow before Jesus and he will say ‘I never knew you”...
Matthew 6:9-13. Pray, then, in this way:
‘Our Father who is in heaven,
    Hallowed be Your name.
    10 ‘Your kingdom come.
    Your will be done,
On earth as it is in heaven.
11 ‘Give us this day our daily bread.
12 ‘And forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors.
13 ‘And do not lead us into temptation, but deliver us from evil. [For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever.
