Sit back and enjoy the full 1 hr 20 min off-road ride, RAW with no commentary. I've added some relaxing music throughout, but if that's not your cup of tea, just turn down the volume. LEAVE A TIP if you liked this: bit.ly/3HTzq5r
In August 2021, I took my KLR-650 for a ride up and over from Tibble Fork Reservoir to Wasatch Mountain State Park via FR 085. My bike has been upgraded to a 685, and it's wearing Shinko 700 tires. The summer weather was perfect, and the trail was in good shape, even though it had recently rained. There are some rocky spots on the way up that can deter the uncommitted, but after that, this mountain trail is mostly easy and well maintained. More trail info here: www.alltrails....

Nice only took you 28:53 to that Fork, I did that same route on my bike cycle 3 years ago. Took me about 3 hrs or more but if you go left at the Fork the trail ends soon all that it’s snowbird property

Good to see you again. When we were younger My wife and I went with an older couple that had traveled ut that canyon for years. We went up on the left to one of the mine sites and a cemetary all on 4 wheelers. But that was when it wasn't that crowded. Thanks for the memories.

Oh wow! It's beautiful in that canyon. Three years ago we took our new travel trailer up there and camped with some friends who have a Jeep at about 04:16 on the left. Nice site but it rattled everything lose on my trailer. I'll never tow a trailer up there again. It was sketchy on the single lane road when Jeeps would come the opposite direction. Great memories though.

Your music is evocative and beautiful. Try a touch of reverb and boost on the slide guitar.

Nothing like some 2 wheel wind therapy! If you decide to do another video, how about review on your KLR, always like learning what mods guys have done with there dual sports! I have a 2018 DR650 that is getting ready for the big mod party once I get all of my fiddly bits in that have been ordered. Always enjoyed the content glad to see your doing a video now and then.

All I want to know, is did you see any Sasquatch?
Brings back fond memories when my dad had a motorcycle when I was a kid. He would take little one day trips just to see a historical site. Because of my dad, I loved camping and hiking. My camping meant sleeping in an old surplus military tent. I could never understand those who would bring a miniature home with satellite tv to camp in. Kind of defeats the purpose.

I recently restored a 1988 Honda NX 250 and have been riding gravel an back roads and really enjoy it, I have a question ? Is the KlR comfortable ? My Honda kills my butt after about 45 minutes .

It is since I upgraded the seat. ;)
It was okay before that, but uncomfortable for long rides.

Have you upgraded your cooling system with a thermo-bob ? I had one on my Klr and it helped tremendously for low-speed rides and on the highway

I did, yes. Had that put in at the same time as the new piston.
