In June 2020, I took my KLR-650 for a ride across Squaw Peak Road, from Provo Canyon to Hobble Creek, UT via FR 027. The winding paved road that leads from Provo Canyon to 027 is accessible to all vehicles, and when 027 turns to dirt, it becomes a slow, but manageable ride for most cars and trucks all the way to the Rock Canyon lookout. From there, it gets more interesting, but not too difficult until after the Rock Canyon Campground turnoff. From that point on, it's mostly 4wd, and high-clearance territory. Bikes, UTV's, and ATV's are well-suited for those bumpy, rutted parts of the road. After the last Hobble Creek lookout, the road gets easier and eventually wider until it winds down and lets out into the paved roads of Hobble Creek. More trail info here: www.alltrails....
