Heeeeeelp I went trough the exact same process and have the same parts in the order you show on video, but for some reason the schock bounces a little when im driving, There is a lot of movement on the mounts, everything is tightened right but i dont think the shock should move at all up and down :(
Some folks also had negative results with sensen. Mine was fine. It may be bad overall. My hope is the vid is to show how to do it. Thanks for sharing your experience.
@@Simplenetwks thank you I was not specific, my shocks are kyb not sensen, the question was in regards to the mounting order of the parts (washers and so on) :( im assuming your didnt move at all?
@@ivancamacho1437 thanks for the info. No mine is good . Been running these for 3 years. Had I had problem, would have shown up my now. I have other horror stories...but not the z3.

thumbs down for me, you cut out the most important part and you left the obvious stuff. The moment you loosened the shock you should have shown if the shock felt down hard, or softly to give the viewer how much pressure its under its own weight, so we can determine if we have to put a jack underneath it, or even need to take off the wheel for that matter. After that the part where you show the order of parts coming out and going back in was good. The second mistake/blunder was not to show the viewer how you used the jack to push the hub assembly up to line up the hole. Do better, pay more attention!

@@Simplenetwks I appreciate your input most of it is good but needs a few tweaks to be better. Include things that were tricky or hard to figure out and show how you did them "clearly". is all.

The most helpful part for me was showing where the top of the shock mount is located under the carpet. thanks.
Awesome video. Thank you.
What about the foam that goes inside the plastic shock protector ?
Samuel Laurency, you put everything back.

Just a heads up, those are shocks and not struts. Struts have the spring incorporated with the shock.
You are right. Thanks for the clarification.
Too dark. Can’t see how to get at the top mount
