I met Tim once. I was staying at my friend’s house in LA in the mid 1990s. Tim was his neighbor. Tim stops over with a Godin Nylon String Guitar with a Synth Interface, and a Roland Guitar Synth, and says to my friend, “I will not be around this weekend, so why don’t you try this out”.

I love the “former ‘80s arena guitar rock god strolling through the neighborhood, and nobody has any idea” thing you have going. Tim, I’ve been a fan since Success Hasn’t Spoiled Me Yet. I saw you in Nashville on the Living In Oz tour. Runaway is one of my favorite rock solos of all time. I picked out the solo for Change a while before you showed us. I was kinda close, and posted a video. Thank you for taking the time to share your knowledge, skill, and insight with us.
As for OD pedals it seem I’ve almost always been in situations where I’m not able to turn my amps up enough to truly get the grind from them. Therefore I’m most accustomed to pedals. I have a v1.4 OCD, a couple Lovepedals, a cool Ibanez Jet Driver, and others. My Nobels ODR-1 has been my go to for a while now, and a 20 year old modded BOSS Blues Driver added to that takes care of solos.
As for Tom Bukovac I knew of him maybe 15 years ago. (I live just outside of Nashville.) He was just so elusive with social media. He did the video a decade ago titled Garage Guitar. I watched that soooo many times. Since this past year of Home Skoolin he is my new fave, and not just because of his playing, I’ve also been able to hip more friends and family to him.
Thanks again for all you do.

Thanks for another great demo, Tim. I enjoy your youtube stuff almost as much as your master class. For ODR-1 pedals, I am sure you have heard of the Nordland ODR-C, engineered and made by Kai Tachibana who designed the ODR-1. I thinks it is great and, while not cheap, is at a lower price point than some, and puts $$ into the inventor's pocket.

Hi Tim, did you ever think about using such a tool as the Iridium from Strymon as a all-in-one amp-modeler, including amp- & cabinet-modeling as well as overdrive. The Iridium is suppposed to feature all this and can be MIDI-controlled - meaning you can store presets e.g. for an clean amp (e.g. Fender) and slight / heavy overdriven VOX / Marshall amp (maybe not too heavy, but normal rock sound should be possible). When going directly into a DAW, this could be beneficial if the sound is pleasant...
    Yours
    Jürgen
