  • Here is a quick breakdown of what I've done to the suspension of my 1993 Ford Mustang and my thoughts so far.
    H&R Super Sport lowering springs
Koni STR (orange) struts and shocks
Maximum Motorsports rear lower control arms
BMR adjustable rear upper control arms
    Maximum Motorsports caster/camber plates
    Lots of polyurethane bushings
More to come, Thanks for watching.

I think that rear end walk thing is because guys remove drsg shocks. Mine doesn't do that. I did flip them around for the 275s Nice car.

Looks really good. I did H&R race springs with Stange struts/shocks. J&M rear Arms set all the way down. Love the stance.

Thanks, I dig yours as well. Great stance and I’m a sucker for calypso.

@@85Lgc definitely an acquired taste but when you see a clean one it bleeds some awesome 90s nostalgia.

Beautiful clean car ! If I could make a recommendation speaking from years of experience as I'm fairly old 🤣...with these foxbodys, if you want them to handle then the 1st thing to do is welded in subframe connectors. 1st thing. After they're in go over some rough train tracks at a slower speed and you can actually feel the difference in rigidity. A Panhard bar is next on my list as it allows the whole rear end to ONLY move up and down on bumps and hard corners. Urethane bushings definitely help but are not a full solution. The tubular front end stuff is nice but the weight savings is not what people are led to believe. It's about 25 lbs depending on the manufacturer. A roll cage is also a large factor in rigidity of you want to go that route and intrude into the interior. In general, you want the base chassis as ridgid as possible and then let the suspension work off of that 🙋‍♂️

Much appreciated and great input. Subframe connectors are coming soon.

That’s a crazy clean car. Well planned start to mods. Panhard bar will make a huge difference. I’ve been running a Steeda 5-Link-2 for a decade.

What is that flange tailpipe setup? What brand?

I’m not sure of the tailpipe brand but the mufflers are either old macs or flowmasters all 2.5in. Most the setups online for these are pretty interchangeable.
