Im building a 79 F100 for a customer and found an 8,8 from a explorer sport track which has the 31 spline axles and comes in 4:10 and 3:73 with LSD... IDK if the width is ok for a fox but thought Id drop that here if needed :-)
I've noticed in the past you dislike a true coil setup on bmw's. Any recent thoughts on this in regard to running them on the fox body? Obviously a solid rear is a different ball game.
What’s the advantage to the true coilover vs the divorced setup? Also, what are the odds on being able to pick up a set of double adjustable rear shocks for a divorced SN95 setup? Or would the top hat situation be the same as what you ran into.
It's my opinion that most of the time there's no real advantage to having true coil versus separate springs... I think in Chelsea's case as he stated in the video he was doing this so that when he changed the anti-squat bar that it didn't change his ride height. If it was not for this, he probably wouldn't be bothering to make the change...
hey what is up suspension master ! question for yaa.. my rear coilover come with 7kgmm spring but i run 4.5kgmm spring on it so i have turn down the valving at minimum (one way coilover) im wrong or its the best i can do for it ? same question for the front. coilover came with 9kgmm and i want to switch for 12 or 14kgmm soon so im planning to up the clicks at the maximum for compensate.. what you think ? thks in advance from a poor canadian guy ✌😄

Yea, it’ll likely be available through me once we finalize the idea. I really don’t want the coilover to mount via rubber bushing like some other people do it
It appears the s550 camber plates are flipped. What kind of caster angle does this result ? Just curious because I was advised to install them the opposite way, and I have a high caster angle.

My fox body had south side machine lift bars and subframe connectors Ford Motorsport driveshaft it seemed like it hooked up pretty good to me

That works within reason yes.
If they are monotube You can lower the nitrogen presssure in the rear and raise in the front some.

Front shocks on my bcracing br series are bottoming out on big bumps daily driving should I add some preload? Love the vids by the way

There are many aftermarket options, BC one works with most 14mm shocks
