When going from “dumb” seat angles to “race” seat angles in the head do the angles on the valves themselves change too? Always or depends or are they unchanged? General question of course and nothing specific.
That would be awesome! Pete coukd play a new song for every tune he puts into mullet or Leroy lol Pete's so damn good at doing stuff lemme tell ya! Dudes a genius yahaha
Pete spends more time drawing to show us valve seat angles then I would cutting them. And that's why he is real good at doing stuff and my next rebuild is going to him
You should do a sequel to the epic sax on Dark Side of the Moon. Instead of "The Great gig in the Sky-I'm thinking run it through some turd polishing compound and you got a Psychedelic adaptation to be called "The Great Pig in its Sty."
Absolutely love this stuff. My only bitch is I wish these videos were longer because I could watch you do this stuff all day. Amazing explanation and wrk.
Just awesomely useful content. Been watching for a while and wondered who on his crew was in the kickass band cranking out the clever and supremely subject targeted tunes, and damned if it's not Pete doing ALL of it himself! Way cool! I'm older than Pete, but if and when I ever grow up, I wanna be just like him.
I just found out that I always click 'like' on homemade music.. well maybe not always but 90% of the time. Thx for the video, really enjoyed this good doin stuff
Cleetus has also brought a lot of people here too though. Pete is the guy making stuff work behind the scenes though and it's appreciated. RUclips is also about audience retention and for most people, watching a race is more exciting than polishing turds lol
@@Shiftheads Which is why people who watch Cleetus vids need to evaluate their heros. First off, what racing? It's all fake or barely relevant, which is fine but let's keep apples to apples but never forget less fruit is more.

pete how did enginge building get in the way of your music ? you start an engine shop to pay for instruments ? or maybe the other way round ? we need a how did pete get here vid
I follow your Facebook to get my H.E.D fix between videos but man nothing beats when you upload on here an actual at length video... Appreciate it sir...
Those Wal-Marx Musicians For Hire that you found in the Lawn & Garden Dept. look vaguely familiar, but I just can't quite figure out who they remind ME of Pete. 🤣
At 10:31 it sounded like you transitioned into CKY - regardless I’d like to hear more of that, and while you are at, just keep playing everything you got. What ever you play seems to be right for my ear - a Detroit kid growing up in the 70s & 80s - and I sing along excitedly with every song you play👍👊🇺🇸🤘
Enjoyed the video an valve job education. BUT - it was at the sax solo that I smashed the like button. I love the music that you're working into your videos! So cool.
I’m glad we didn’t get tested today I didn’t study last night this subject was interesting 😂great video buddy I had no clue why it was so important to have so many different valve angles for different things thanks for sharing buddy keep polishing those turds
Dude!! SAX too !!..🤯👏.. very nice. I've been a guitarist for 25 years... but started out on Clarinet and Saxophone in Elementary school. Very impressive Pete. P.S.. I'm a huge Megadeth/Dave Mustaine fan boy too. 🤘🤘
great stuff! your descriptive wording; i.e. "dumb angles", etc, clear video with inserted jazz, extra points it being you; and editing to keep it tight...and superbly informative...kudos to you! and mahalo!
Pete I have to say the polishing turds song is amazing! I also have to say the videos are great very entertaining and informative! Keep up the great work !
Brother I am great at electrical house fixing anything plumbing. You are awesome at your experience. Awsome brother! Keep polishing turds! And so will I.
That the right way valve job first then port, but if your running 2.100 intake valve & it ground for 45 degrees , it will not work when ground too 50 degrees it will not be big enough
Another great tech video. How about a giveaway where you give away a valve job/port work on a set of whatever cylinder heads the winner has in exchange for merch buys. Cause I want good heads but I’m only financially secure enough to buy a shirt.
Well, after working on engines for 50yrs or so, I finally asked the question, if clearing the cylinder of gas is relatively harder to do than filling the cylinder because of forced induction, then why is the exhaust valve the smaller of the two valves in the head? Seems to me in forced induction engines that the exhaust valve should be the larger of the two. Should bring down exhaust temperature due to better flow.

I love the fact that Pete is an excellent musician.
I think cleetus should build a little stage at the trailer for Pete next time he comes to world cup to tune :)
Tune or play some tunes?
Both
@@fgchotline3964Mainly Hot Tuna covers (Toonah)
Love the idea.

Nothing like being able to create your own background music.
Money video! These are so fun to watch. Dude, you pissed 10 feet high on the wall with Leroy's engine. That was awesome.
It's cool that he does his music in the vids as well,he is obviously putting all his passion in to bouth, dope!!!

I’m kinda liking that idea
A slow motion valve job, a great jazz saxophone soundtrack, Pete's glorious hair. Polishing Turds has it all!!
Jack of all trades 😂 👍👍
Hell of a musician. Damn good
Proudly wore your shirt on bowling night here in Michigan friday..lots of good comments. You're a multi talented genius
I love the RGADS shirt. It literally applies to anything you do. Emptying the dishwasher, yeah I'm real good at that too.
I wish Pete had a music channel as well, could listen to his music all day !
Absolutely love this stuff. My only bitch is I wish these videos were longer because I could watch you do this stuff all day. Amazing explanation and wrk.
The sax solo out of left field is the best thing Ive seen in a while. Phenomenal stuff
“If I can find an intro song”bwahahaha Love every second, Pete.

Amazing that 5 degrees makes a difference for performance and reliability.
We need more music and turds. Keep them flowing Pete!! 🤘
Really cool to see you go into depth about valve angles and comparing a stock/mild valve angle to a high performance cut.
Great music and car related content doesn't get any better than this! I've done my fair share of turd polishing in my day also 👍
Pete great Chanel you sum it up so easy instead of beating around the bull shit like most books I read back in days when I thought it was voodoo
the music makes this. shit slap harder than anything ive heard in a while. your a mad sax man.
Damn dog rock it.. more please!! i like your vids.. it kills me 1.7 zillion folks watch cleetus but don't want to see what makes it happen.
yeah and theyre missing out on the badass intro music too!

The best part is Pete is showing and teaching and wish I could play but not in my cards
Enjoying the music and the white board drawings.....
These videos are great lol! So much entertainment with a live band to get through the less exciting parts!

15:19 you are the man Pete
Best background music on RUclips!! Love it!! N this series!!
Great music cuts Pete, thoroughly enjoy when you throw music footage into the mix.
Great stuff. A guitar man myself, you sound like you spent many younger year listening to Joe S. The Satch.
BEST CHANNEL EVER!!!😂 intro won me over and the guitars and turd polishing kept me hooked.
Here for the music and got to watch a valve job.
Awesome stuff, Pete. Air flow theory, machining, and great music!
Pete sure knows how to fuckin rock!

We're not looking to go 200,000 miles between value jobs😂. 🍺

Do you consider the lift of the valve when deciding the seat angles?
Good info 👍🏻
Loving these videos man. Keep pumping them and the jam out.
Nice work!
I could watch this all day, thanks for the videos,
Banger intro tune. 🤘😝👍
Great vid and nice sax addition

Awesome shirt. I will ask my wife for extra money on my allowance to buy one. I can’t promise you anything because I use my allowance for beer money.
And here I thought you would be dressing stones and breaking out the Sioux valve grinder.
You do look snazzy though.
I love this
amazing sir

EPIC intro...
Much love from Guam/ Washington state 🤙🏾🇬🇺🇺🇸🍻
How about a brief explanation of why you don't use a radius under the intake valve seat?
