Currently playing and learning this awesome game! On 29:50 though - I figured based on your SOLO AI card, the Varg CANNOT do either of the 2 Middle Actions - 1: Attacking a Martial or Celestial Hero (the Varg doesn't see one in its LOS), and 2: the +3 Range attack does not apply to the Varg because it's a Melee monster (as stated in the Rules: ..."if it possesses the indicated attack type" - which it doesn't). Meaning - you should've picked the OTHERWISE Monster Action and discarded 3 cards from the hand. Does that make sense?

Thank you, you make some of my favorite solo videos. I have one question, to verify my understanding of the rules, When moving Melinda, wouldn't it take a total of 6 movement points to position her there (timestamp 39:44) the last movement would have required 2 movement points because she was leaving a spot that was adjacent to the ogre?

You're talking about Mirabell I think?
Had to lookup the rules for this question : "If you leave a space that is adjacent to at least one enemy (even diagonally), you must pay 1 extra Speed point or be unable to move. This penalty never adds more than 1 Speed point per space, even if the hero leaves a space that is adjacent to several enemies. It is important to note that you do not pay a penalty for simply entering a space that is adjacent to an enemy."
So : the first 2 moves are regular ones (2MP), the 3rd one moves the character through the door and next to the enemy. That makes 3 movement points in total to this point. To move left of the chest, you need 2 more movement points (as the character is 'engaged' with the enemy and needs to tread carefully) - making it 5 mp's in total.

Good job. But how is it possible to range attack with melinda one space from the ogre.

She played a card which allowed point blank attacks.

I'm guessing you walked into the room to demonstrate the challenge token, but you know you could have attacked the ogre diagonally from outside the room?

I think the moment this game lost me was in the times where you chose to leave a monster alive in order to get the lesser of two potential consequences on the activation card. I'm not even a theme guy, but the idea of leaving an enemy alive on purpose seems really backwards to me.

I still have this game on the way but I'm looking forward to a slightly lighter weight mage knight sort of experience. I assume this game still does not take the crown away from mage knight but it will be a good supplement and take less time to setup and play through.
How does the game go with multiple players?

It does not take the crown from MK! I would not know about higher player counts, though-I'm specifically a solo player.

Keep up your great work. I like Dungeon Alliance, but I have to constantly tell myself to slow down and you showed that brilliantly. This game isn't a normal ameritrash dungeon romp, and when I first played the game, it disappointed me. There is more thinking than hacking in the game.
