I loved the album :) A lot of the songs do sound similar but i dont really mind that since this sound is not yet fully explored. And I do think he does get experimental with it on the ones that werent singles. favs except the singles are poster boy, trust and fame runner.
I disagree on the same song allegations, they are definitely similar but its definitely extremely well done and i feel like there’s enough variation edit: i think u need to just let yourself enjoy the music for what it is theres no need to overcomplicate it

When a song takes a turn that I just was NOT expecting at all I typically don't like it. You said it yourself. It just works. His music, especially this album, entices me and I think its definetly for people just trying to vibe. Overall though, solid review. it reminds me of crystal castles ekko2k and bladee at the same time and ezekiel myb also myb laura less idk man its mix of everything but i love it but def its the music of future , fame runner song reminds me of death grips also that creepy intros reminds me of yung leans in some of hes songs like agenda
While I get the predictability, it IS produced that well it doesn’t matter. The two august 4th singles have me confused. There is no way this is incel music, though, it’s 1. Upbeat as shit 2. The guy is Justin Bieber he could never relate to an incel what the heck was that wack ass comment. Understandable video. I think what Hollis did was want to make one song lead into the other and actually bring the ‘2’ in his name to a sonical fruition. He’s not an actor he’s a poster boy. I think it should be a 7 song EP and you wouldn’t complain.
i just noticed you reacted to this and deadass I had the exact same feelings, it sounds good but the vocal chops we’re getting so annoying because they all had the exact same chop pattern I guess you could call it same with the synths/leads, and all songs just sounded too similar. Fame runner was def the best track outside the singles. Just strange because the songs sound good individually but they all sound too similar to be all put together lol
