    Mine just says Accounts, not Accounts and Import, and when I click on Accounts there is not the option for Grant Access to your Gmail Account.

    • @TechInfokart
      @TechInfokart  Месяц назад

      It sounds like you might be in a different version of Gmail or possibly a different account type. Here’s what you can try:
      Double-check the Account Type: Ensure you’re using a standard Gmail account, as the "Grant Access" feature may not be available in certain account types like G Suite or Google Workspace.
      Check Account Settings: Sometimes the layout can vary based on updates. Try navigating to Settings (the gear icon) > See all settings > Accounts and Import.
      Update Your Browser: Ensure your browser is up to date, as some features might not appear in outdated versions.
      If you still can’t find the option, please let me know which version of Gmail you’re using or any other specifics that might help diagnose the issue.

    Hey, How can i remove the delegated account someone has access as it's not showing in accounts and import tab. When I click the upper right corner when i sign in to gmail it shows the delegated account with a lock sign.

    • @TechInfokart

      Sorry for the late reply.
      you can follow these steps:
      Click the profile picture in the top right corner of Gmail.
      Select "Manage your Google Account".
      Click the "Security" tab.
      Under "Signing in to Google", click "Manage third-party access".
      Find the delegated account that you want to remove and click the "Remove" button.
      Click the "Remove" button again to confirm.
      Hope this will help you... ❤️

      This feature is typically used in a business or professional setting where an assistant or team member needs to manage your emails on your behalf.

    Can we take mail deleting right from a delegate????Plz tell

    • @TechInfokart
      @TechInfokart  7 месяцев назад

      Yes, in Gmail's Delegate Access, you can revoke delete permissions. If you want to remove the mail deleting right from a delegate, you can adjust the delegation settings in your Gmail account. Simply go to your Gmail settings, find the 'Accounts and Import' or 'Accounts' section, and manage delegate access. From there, you can modify the permissions granted to delegate, including the ability to delete emails on your behalf. Hope this will help you. Thanks...

    when I try this it asks to input the POP server

    • @TechInfokart
      @TechInfokart  27 дней назад

      It sounds like Gmail might be asking for POP server settings due to specific email settings in your account. Normally, granting delegate access shouldn't require setting up POP. Make sure you're in the 'Accounts and Import' tab and selecting the delegation option directly.

    When we try to give access it says: Error: You can only grant access to Google accounts in the same Google Workspace organization. Please can you help?

    • @TechInfokart
      @TechInfokart  3 месяца назад

      The error message you're seeing indicates that you can only grant access to Google accounts within the same Google Workspace organization. This means the email address you're trying to delegate access to must be part of the same organizational domain as your account.
