Very good video! Really enjoyed it. I'd love to see more on how the different melodies relate to each other and the chords, that was the only part that I couldn't quite follow.
Thanks for watching, I kinda just go by feel when it comes to melody. Don’t really have a playbook for it but I like to hum out something over the chord progression
bro are you really wonderlust beats the one who produced counting stars by be'o? I got to know you through that song and it's been my dream since to have my song be on the top charts of South Korea. This video popped out in my algorithm, you've inspired me ever since bro!
Hey thanks for the tutorial. I really like your chord progression. It's so hard coming up with rich neo soul chord progressions because they usually use chords out of the key. How do you choose which ones work for you?
Hey man this has been really helpful for me, ive tried to get the neo soul pack you put in your description and its expired though so if you see this comment do you think you will upload it again?
This is REALLY nice music. I feel like the tutorial would work a little better (we'd be able to follow your musical decisions better) if, instead of showing every layer independently, you showed a little more of how they fit into each other as you go along, so we might have our own thoughts about what's missing.
Nice bro, i see you are just at the start of your youtube career, nice content mehn. Keep it up! lil point of feedback would be not letting us hear every pattern exclusively completely, like speed it up a bit. thought of this after you showed us the chords, and then the root notes of the chords seperatly, might combine some patterns and explanations. But great beat and vid mehn keep it up!
I dont even produce music but was still very interesting. Also commenting to making the algorithm recommend this to more people
that means alot thank you!
can't believe you only have 151 subscribers, this is gold
we will grow. and thank you sir for the support
Lovely! i just appreciate the simplicity of this process.
You are a beautiful human for including the folder of the sounds you used. Thank you so much!🥺
u give good tutorials, most people dont explain enough to give the viewer a chance to learn

feel it out for as long as it takes to sound good to you
Look up a video about modal interchange. These chords from the parallel key is what you're looking for.
This low key sounds like a TPAB beat I can definitely hear Kendrick rapping on this
The chord progression part was helpful
This is amazing!!!
Nice tutorial ma G !

greatt
thank you mokart!
good job bro i def like what i heard lets collab
How does one get more realistic sounding instruments? Do I just look onto websites that sell plugins?
Try Analog Lab 5
LMFAOOOOo @ bbc
What key is that chord progression in and how do you write a progression that uses chords from different keys?
C Minor. and thats kind of a complicated answer but if you look up chord modulations then im sure youll find something
@@wonderlustbeats2 thank you ill look into that
where are those drum stems from please?
bro you sound like snappmakesbeats!!!
OH SNAP
cool video bro
thank you!
chord progression with the piano kinda sounds like Alpha House by knucks, great vid tho🙏🙏🔥🔥
4:43 😂😂
bro, could you please send some neo soul/rnb drums my way. i don't like the drums in pop music, overly digital sounding
had me @1:04
🤌🤌🤌
Are there any producers that use anything other than fl and live loop/play instruments live into daws?? Does anybody know any?
You can't make neo soul by quantizing everything
Gotta have that Dilla feel that Quest Love adopted
i offset the drums, and put notes slight off in the piano roll which is the opposite of quantizing
bbc orchestra lmfaooo
Nice but those strings are off, specially with those chords
The strings sound so fake I assumed they were a basic synth until he mentioned the library… but yeah, they don't work very well.
bro your voice make me tired
Cool tutorial but quite expensive sound to produce because of those plugins 🫣
dope vid, add me & kick some feedback g............
