Wowwww.. what a hugeee difference! Come on... get real! almost no pratical difference that worth the trade for sucha performance loss... If one wants a gas engine to be quite put an electric motor with sound system...
@@sf10pilot98 We know that: P = 10^(P db / 10), so -3 db is about 1/2 the volume and -10 dB about 1/10, so -4.4 dB is about 1/3 quieter. But, in practical terms, that isn't much when you consider that high frequency sound waves are naturally attenuated much faster with distance then low frequencies and since this device mostly attenuate high frequencies, although engines equipped with this device will sound quieter for people 10 or 20 feet away from the engine , not much different will be perceived by people 100 feet or more away from the plane.
