It was the thump into the wall that lifted them out of the seat then, at that moment, the camera kart that moved the kart from underneath them and they were ejected. I think had the second impact not happened they would have fallen back into their seat.
I still remember the crash I had while go-karting 4 years ago, as I was approaching a corner someone had already span out so I pressed the brake peddle to slow down ( and to avoid both the member of staff and the guy who span out ) as I pressed the brake peddle the go-kart didn't slow down and I tried to steer out of the way but the back end stepped out so I yelled "GET OUT OFF THE!" and I slammed side on to the go kart and I had to go to hospital as I was badly injured ( and before any of you blame me for the accident I wasn't at fault as I had a go kart with faulty brakes which led to the accident and I broke 6 ribs on one side )
I had two places where the brakes failed. One was indoors and I did what you did, and slid into the barrier. Fortunately just a bruise. The other time was outdoors and ended up turning wide off into the desert. It happens, luckily not that often.

I saw a similar crash with my stepson getting ejected, a rubber tyre was concreted into the ground on the inside of a corner. he got pushed into that large tyre in the same way as this driver on the inside , and his kart bounced off it so far he was ejected onto the tarmac.
Although a 3rd kart didn’t punt him like in this video
Innocent bystander the dude with the GoPro. thou in saying that (unless he is preventing getting passed by someone on his right) surprised he is taking that line here.
What was your best lap time .. I’m going to get mine out of the draw and see .. was back in 2019 at that same place ..

He must've of thought "can everyone hold back a little whilst l take this corner on the completely wrong line" what a wally..
He realised too late that that gap is imposibble but the other guy left no space for him

wow, how much hors power carts are there? Maybe seatbelts are needed for those ? :)
Lessons were learned, and notes were taken💀
damn that's bad. Worst i have ever seen was a lap 1 pileup in a tight section. leader spun, P2 hit them and came to a sudden and dead stop in the middle of the racing line while I was right behind them. i hit the driver P2 at full racing speed. P2's helmet flew off. did not look comfortable.

Did we miss anything?
At least his visor was down!

Jesus Christ! He barely touched that other guy's kart, yet that happened to him.
I hope the Karting Center paid for the hospitalisation as they were responsible for maintaining the Karts..
Was there little to no brake bite? Did the brake pedal go all the way or much of the way throughout its travel?
Only problem was: that was the accelerator, not the brake.
@@gerrycollins2335 I did press the brake peddle but it didn't do anything so something broke between the peddle and the brakes
I had two places where the brakes failed. One was indoors and I did what you did, and slid into the barrier. Fortunately just a bruise. The other time was outdoors and ended up turning wide off into the desert. It happens, luckily not that often.
needs to come out way wider and just keep close until his opponent makes the mistake that allows him to get through safely

I drove my petrol go kart under a camper van parked in our garden as a kid.Luckly i lifted my leg up which acted like a spring and stopped the step from giving me a massive chest injury. It broke my big toe (which really did hurt) and i bounced back out like a sprung coil. Then was in so much pain i hopped around told my mate to put the kart away for me and started to cry then passed out in my bedroom 😂
I have 3 cracked ribs and whiplash as you read, doing the very same thing but at the curve, Chester.
Hope you make a speedy recovery @johnlanddigging please subscribe 🏁👍
You can see the moment his helmet prevented the back of his noggin from hitting the ground
Never had the line. Great footage. Better than watching F1 at the moment!
Thanks for the comment @chokoholmes9177 please subscribe going again soon so hopefully get some more clips 👍
“Is it racing or ping-pong?!”
Bit of both 🤣🤣🤣 @RomanZerstoren please subscribe 🤣
Flyer's fault. That space was always going to close down.
One time I was at a K1Speed, and this teenage girl blew a corner, slammed through the track wall, and continued on into the concrete wall of the building itself. She got carried out of the place in a stretcher.

I hate going Karting simply because of my 110kg body weight,i always come near the top but if the weights were equal then i would win more often than not.

Never ever ever ever point your steering wheel to someone on the ground, if someone hits you from behind you’re not going to like what you see

I sold that chap the Dean Thomas Arai replica. Nice to see it in action!

ALL THE TIME YOU HAVE TO LEAVE A SPACE
He leaned into the corner which was already wrong and did it early causing early rotation in turn he was going making the crash
Please subscribe @babyoikawa
What happened was that Driver 3 collided (he did an early turn) with Driver 8 and then the POV Driver collided with him sending him out! I hope he is ok!
Buddy said I'm sending it until I either see god or the checkered flag. Lmfao

are there no seatbelts in the rental carts in the UK? In the Netherlands you require to were the seatbelt at all times?
No seatbelts in the UK @sirvosa767 please subscribe 👍
In racing karts you DON'T want to be seatbelted in, since the kart can flip. It's the same reason why motorcycles don't have seatbelts, you want to be as far away from the bike as possible.
in Germany are no seatbelts as well
People do that to me on Forza all the time, in fact if I don’t go from 10-24th in the first corner something is wrong.
You have crashes where no other car was involved, and you end up in the tire wall. This guy said fuck that, I won't even bring my own.
1 thing you don’t do in karting is lean into a corner you lean out
I was in hospital many years ago (born with a disability, it was one of many times) and someone came in after crashing a go kart while in holiday in spain i think, somehow managed to flip it over, or possibly into, a wall, my memory of it is hazy but i think he broke both legs
Ouch @markorollo thanks for the comment please subscribe
Going for the 2 stroke move
Didn't think that was possible in a Teamsport go kart.

A sharp left means the driver should take a wide entry, not go left before the corner even starts.

A closing gap is a gap that can't be got through. The driver in front is turning and doesn't have to move off their line. The driver behind should of backed out. A common mistake made by people unused to racing.
Is this the one where the guy flips over mid-air and the owner says "oi no professionals?"
He was leaning into the corner, which is also a big mistake, which makes turning slower
Hope everyone is ok. Racing is dangerous
It is when people drive like bell ends. The racing karma gods got this one right. Idiot driving.
