Kubo actually confirmed in a Q&A that James was the real Sternritter S, and Mask De Masculine was a manifestation of what James considered to be his "ideal hero.” That’s why Yhwach mentioned James’ name and not Mask’s. In other words, James beat 2 captains with his imaginary friend. 😂

Ill never get tired of seeing rukia's bankai finally animated and hearing never meant to belong/slip away and how perfectly it fit during byakuya's and Rukia's final scene together. The va for as nodt always does an amazing job and he did a phenomenal job with as nodt and his voice range is so good

Yes rukia’s bankia is incredibly beautiful but it is also absolutely deadly to not only her enemies but herself to freeze everything around her within a 50 mile radius turning the atmosphere into ice and still going to -500 degrees Celsius that can literally freeze the planet core if she’s not careful
Her bankia is the exact opposite of yamamoto but instead of turning the universe into ash she can freeze it
Rukia's beauty alone at the end there nearly made me shed tears.
I really like that episode 6 of TYBW part 1 has Yamamoto's "Hottest and Badass" Bankai then in episode 6 of TYBW part 2 has Rukia's "Coldest and Gorgeous" Bankai. Also, Press F for As Nodt. His voice actor did a really good job to scare you.
Hakka no Togame means "White Haze Punishment." It looks so beautiful. So much nicer than the manga. And I was so happy that they kept the Byakuya line about Hakka no Togame being beautiful. It's the nicest thing he's ever said to Rukia.
Rukia’s bankai was voted as the most memorable bankai for a reason. It was the biggest episode because ppl who aren’t even watching the anime turned in JUST to see Hakka No Togame, it was THAT iconic 😭

Honestly, the wait was well worth it for Rukia's Bankai! Not only is it beautiful, but it is incredibly strong too!

A bunch. Aizen already stated that a battle between Shinigami is a battle of reaitsu.
Another statement was that Respira wouldn't work on Kenpachi as it would be offset by his ridiculously high reaitsu.
Going by that logic, Rukia's powers won't work on the Bleach high tiers.
@@djshiki7657not really, Aizen concentrated his reiatsu to survive Soi Fon's Attack. If respira surrounds kenpachi, he will have a hard time defending that. Not saying he can't, but Barragan has a strong chance of beating him. Same thing with Rukia, if not defended properly she can one shot people.
Arguably this show is the best when it comes to character transformations. Sodenoshirayuki was a beauty in the Zanpakuto Rebellion Arc and Rukia was just so majestically beautiful in Bankai Form.

Renji did actually chop James up into a million pieces in the manga. It must have been changed to only cutting off the head in the anime for censorship reasons. That also gives a bit more context for why there were a million James, it was actually James regrowing from each little piece.

Yay!! Jami got to react already!! Renji's true bankai is really awesome, his bankai was incomplete since it was just the snake side, but he also has the baboon side. And Rukia!!!!! Her bankai is so beautiful. I was beyond happy when I finally saw it animated after all these years.

In the VERY early days of designing Bleach, Kubo intended for Rukia to be a tiny fairy companion for Ichigo. He eventually scrapped the idea, but incorporated the fairy wing design into her bankai appearance.
Rukia in her Bankai looked like a Goddess of snow white haze accompanied by beautiful cherry blossomed blades of her brother. And Renji, always as badass as ever! Well, me being a manga reader knew all of this. But watching it all animating is thrilling! especially when Rukia vs As Nodt was animated with the help of Ufotable (Demon slayer) and others aside from Pierrot. That's why Bleach has never disappointed me even in the slightest.
Toshiro may have the strongest ice zanpakuto, but Rukia has the most beautiful one. Ice Queen Rukia is one of my favourite moments in the series ❄️👸

its not about how the fights accually play out.
its about the message behind it, the dialouges
the reason for fighting, and what youre willing to sacrafice or protect.
And that together with the sound design,VA,and animations its just so beautiful.
every fight and in general dialouge teaches us very important life lessons.
for example yamamotto was so fueled by revenge, he didnt realise the foe he was fighting was only a disguise.
And that led to his downfall.
Unahara felt so guilty about her own weakness in the past, she saw no reason in her own life.
if she cant redeem herself and bring kenny back to his real strengh.
so her purpose became dying for his cause.
Sanji gave in to vengance and therefore sacraficed his own ideals which he tried to percieve on tosen.
But atleast he died for the sake of protecting his commarade, even if it means he would not get his Ultimate revenge.
And about Rukia what can i say, the fact the only thing holding her abck was the fear.
She wont be enough for her brother, which haunted her for the entire bleach series.
finaly came to an end, by Byakuia recognizing her growth and accepting her.
and him also letting her fight her own battles, because he now believes in her is so beatiful.

It being a bankai that alters her looks also makes it a rather unique bankai, kinda like Ichigo's.

Just to really drive it home, Hakka no Togame, Rukia's Bankai, is essentially the inverse of Zanka no Tachi, Yamamoto's Bankai. That fight was in the bag for Rukia, no matter what. Meaning the only reason Byakuya even felt the need to help, was to make sure she didn't kill herself when she used it.

Who would have imagined Rukia would become such an ice queen? She gave As Nodt the cold shoulder and then after letting go of her fear, she made everything FROZEN. That’s what that “F” stands for now.

Both Renji and Rukia’s bankais are so interesting!
Zabimaru is unique in how it’s actually two spirits in one. Hihio Zabimaru means ‘Baboon King’s Snake Tail’ which hints that it’s incomplete, since it’s only referring to one half of the spirit. So-Oh Zabimaru translates to ‘Twin King Snake Tail’ which is the complete version of both spirits.
Meanwhile, Rukia’s bankai is an inversion of Ichigo’s. Tensa Zangetsu compresses Ichigo’s power, enshrouding him in black and increasing his speed and mobility. Meanwhile Hakke no Togame expands Rukia’s power, draping her in white and making her completely immobile.
After all this time I never noticed ichigo and rukia’s bankai are inverses of each other
