Wuja is a gift from God to us all. We need to treasure her. She is really a beautiful soul. There is so much goodness in her. And her musicianship, technique and mental focus/flow are truly mind blowing. I am a professional musician and she blows my mind! She is an inspiration on so many levels. I just love her.
Yuja's gifted fingers bring tears to everything she plays. This tired, old world is very lucky to have such a healing performer stitch us together for just a little while at a time. Thank you for an enduring interview.
I love Yuja so much! She has a such a beautiful and joyous soul! I also love her humility and humanity, and I believe that those qualities actually add to her consummate artistry. ❤
Listening to this wonderful interview, made me realize how cutely shy, Yuja with her nervous giggle, very humble, the attention fame brings can no doubt be overwhelming, such intelligent people are actually very private individuals…
To be so young, so dedicated to the classical music culture gives all of us hope , inspiration and a new confidence in life. Yuja Wang is the personification of what can be achieved through discipline, hard work, sacrifice and reaching out to perfection. Nobility and beauty still exist in the hands of this great artist-pianist.
I would hate this, being forced to play something I played the night before in the morning before I've recovered from the previous evening. You can see she's not truly comfortable with this guy, but is doing it out of obligation.
She never seems that comfortable talking about herself really. Ari Vardi is a world renowned pianist and pedagogue; perhaps she was a bit intimidated. He is on her teacher Gary Graffmans's level.
@@bloodgrss Yuja has great respect for other musicians. Sometimes, I wonder if she appreciates just how good she is. Frankly, although Arie Vardi has an encyclopaedic musical knowledge, as a performer, Yuja is very much the superior.
The interviewer seems a bit senile, like at 20:15 he suddenly says we would now like to watch on RUclips when we played a piano concerto together on stage, and repeats the word RUclips a couple times, but never says what the piece is! All I got was that it's a big deal to him that we have this wonderful thing called RUclips where we can watch something we did together - whatever that was. Anybody here recognize it?
@@cristiancrstian8840 Thank you - some other anonymous kind soul pointed that out as well. I knew I had heard this before but just couldn't place it. It kept ringing in my head . Thanks again 🙂

The world is simply blessed to have Yuja available to us to enjoy! Just imagining how her brain must work is fascinating.

Beautiful comment!

It is inconceivable to imagine a human being able to play more perfectly and beautifully than she does. We all thank God he gave us such a present.

What a brilliant mind and fun as well!
A true musician with a deep soul. Bravo! She is a gift from god to ALL mankind. Thank you!
An absolutely fantastic interview and held so much, at the piano.. where all the expression takes place. Thank you.
Can I just say also, what a wonderful man this interviewer is. 💚
I totally agree! He is the greatest!

Yuja Wang is so charming here and seems to love this Fazioli
This is the most heartfelt interview I have seen with Yuja Wand. Thank you Arie Vardi. I felt I got closer to who she is as a person and musician.
I don’t know how anyone can not fall in love with this Beautiful,Charming Young Lady 💘💘💘💘
I shall name all my children after her
I like Arie Vardi in this...
Harry, you've forgotten something: she plays the piano a little bit...
@@ajarnwordsmith628I shall never forget that, she’s marvellous 💘💘💘
Yuja you are absolutely Adorable 💘
Allways marvellous !!!!
Always interesting and unpredictable, beautiful Ms Yuja Wang
The goddess of piano! 👍💯💖
She becomes the music...and the music becomes her. Mazel Tov
A PRESENT TO HUMANITY !
She plays beautifully👏👏👏👏👏👍
I love the way the Interviewer so casually ( and inevitably) directs the conversation to Begging Yuja for the next performance !!!....
Obviously she is not a morning person but she is so gracious in obliging the interviewer’s request to play the piece ❤
Fantastic 🎶🥰
I enjoyed this Miss Wang, thank you. 👍🌷🌷🌷 (N.L.)
What a wonderful interview. Why didn't they open the piano for such a great artist?
I think they didnt prepare for it and it was just a fast play trought😅
Gluck so beautifully played ❤
Beautiful.
OMG I Love Her 🥰
Yuja we love you ❤
Es única....irrepetible!

@@timothybolshaw I don't think Ari ever questioned that. He often plays a duet/two hands with his famous pianist quests, for fun.
She's very comfortable at the piano. And she's played all of these pieces hundreds or thousands of times. One more isn't going to bother her.
perfect as a pianist, perfect as a woman!
Perfect as a human
She's so gracious! Interviewer is so insensitive!
מטורף כמה שהיא טובה!!

This interview is from 2010, and the RUclips concept and viral video's still a relatively new concept to many...
Es una maravilla escucharla
👏👍🌹❤️
first time i ever saw her play a piano that was not a steinway!
Fazioli!!
what is the opening music piece?
It sounds very much like Beethoven's "Fur Elise," but apparently it is Yuja's version of the piece.
@@peterculhane1661 Thanks! but it sounds so different 😞
Beethoven | Piano Sonata No. 17 in D minor, 3rd movement :)
