+whiteoakwoodworker I find I'm ok up to the green because I have a little more tactile feedback. After that I think I lose my angle. Same with stropping. I end up dulling the blade instead of refining the edge despite being very gentle.
That might be the case, it takes a lot of practice. Larger stones tend to be easier when you are learning to sharpen because you can use your whole body and get a more consistent motion

I think he meant a combination of in a singular diafold; that there's not.
Their okay but the coarse side wears out fast
"Extra extra fine. That will give you a nice mirror polish, give you a good edge". Not when I use it :(
