Great chat guys. Amusing as always. I like nothing more than chilling in my PJ's and listening to record talk. Gotta say Crocs are very comfortable although I've yet to buy any (tried out my dad's pair). Strictly for the gardening chores, definitely not for street wear. Regarding Sade lps they're still around the £10 mark here for the 80s lps. . I kinda regret offloading mine but they were £1 charity shop buys 10 years ago. I'll pick them up again one day at the right price. Cheers Nige
Sade is a queen, and doesn’t get the fkowera she deserves. As for Crocs, in moderation for those uses you outlive, I’m on board. Not my thing, but I can see it. But this old fella is seeing them everywhere and anywhere and he’s hot under the collar about it 🤣🤣🤣. Thanks as always for watching Nige! Be well my friend ✌🏻
I just found a new record shop in my home town. They are continuing to pop up. I have noticed that most inventory in most shops is new or reissues. Used stuff has dried up or super expensive. I think we will see discount bins but will be $5-10. Love the "Above" and "Voodoo" pulls since Im a 90s kid. My go-to anytime record is Siamese Dream - Smashing Pumpkins. Its got a little of everything for me.
Oh yeah, Siamese is a classic 🤘🏻. Good used (fairly priced) is drying up at the stores. Most top pieces I’m seeing are either at record shows or online (mostly auction platforms). Is the new spot near you decent, or just mostly new/reissues?
@@ConcertBuddie Been open 6 weeks. I found it after they were open a month. Brent (the owner) said most of the used was from him procuring it over the past couple of years. He had some of both but not a huge inventory. He said he is ALWAYS looking for collections to buy.
John McCauley of Deer Tick (one of my favorite bands) fronted a Nirvana reunion in 2018. McCauley's voice has that same raspyness of Cobain, but does sound exactly like him. Story goes that Dave Grohl found or was given a performance of Deer Tick covering Nirvana songs in concert.
I'll have to look that up. Hadn't heard about it! Only knew about the (kind of) Nirana reunion for the Sound City song with Paul McCartney with Dave, Krist, and Pat

never let anyone put a pair of those things on your feet. It is admitting defeat.

@@ConcertBuddie hahahahaha. Whenever I see one of your vids launching, I'm happy. The No Cringe Zone.
